Job Summary: The person hired for the position of U.S. Metalworking Marketing Manager will provide marketing advice and consult with the U.S. leadership team to set and execute short-term strategic direction and operating plans.
This person will drive growth through customer first initiatives, manage and drive VOC gathering and market insight development to identify and prioritize opportunities, and contribute to NPI projects in driving long term efficient growth. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Lead the marketing planning process for the U.S. abrasives business, utilizing customer insight expertise and complex data analysis skills to identify and prioritize opportunities.
Exhibit expert “influencing without authority” skills in working cross-functionally with global, digital, channel, and portfolio marketing, marketing communications, application engineering, customer service, and the ISMC sales team in advancing the ASD business.
Display exceptional presentation skills and creativity in training and motivating both internal 3M and external channel partner sales professionals in both live and virtual formats.
Manage and drive VOC/VOM process to identify opportunities based on customer insights to drive growth through new product introduction.
Execute New Product Introductions on the local level. Lead the development of all supporting content and tactics. Develop and deliver local sales forecast.
Lead the identification, prioritization, and selection of target customers by using segmentation and other market prioritization tools and techniques. Drive the use of appropriate tools and technologies to facilitate data-based business decisions and customer insights.
Demonstrate exemplary business acumen through analyzing market trends, customer insights, and financial analysis that leads to sustainable competitive advantage in the market + Become an agile strategic thinker who connects end to end business practices to advance ASD business. We hold processing approvals for every major airframe manufacturer and process parts for a base of over 600 customers worldwide. *Job Description: * This is an entry-level position in our Abrasive Blasting department. Employees in this position use a variety of media to blast parts in preparation for painting. Hours for this position are training Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m.
2:30 p.m. and once training is complete, Monday through Friday 2:00 p.m.
10:30 p.m. Specific responsibilities include: * Review customer and Hytek paperwork for instructions
Follow technique cards instructions to process parts
