*Job Description: * This is an entry-level position in our Abrasive Blasting department. Employees in this position use a variety of media to blast parts in preparation for painting. Hours for this position are training Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m.

  • 2:30 p.m. and once training is complete, Monday through Friday 2:00 p.m.

  • 10:30 p.m. Specific responsibilities include: * Review customer and Hytek paperwork for instructions

  • Follow technique cards instructions to process parts

  • Work closely with more advanced operators to complete work and prioritize tasks

  • Perform work with strong attention to quality of product

  • Sign off on paperwork as required

  • Other related duties as assigned Essential Mental/Physical Demands: Standing for long periods of time in a manufacturing environment. Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs. . Use of safety equipment when necessary (goggles, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, etc.). Often exposed to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles.

    Hearing protection is required. Temperatures in the work environment can fluctuate with outside weather conditions. Required Skills:

Job Summary:

The person hired for the position of U.S. Marketing Supervisor will drive growth through customer first initiatives, manage and drive VOC gathering and market insight development to identify opportunities, contribute to NPI projects, plan and execute business development efforts to sustain long term efficient growth.

  • Provide significant contribution to marketing planning process. Utilize customer, channel, and market expertise to develop and execute tactics to achieve sales targets.

  • Display exceptional presentation skills and creativity in training and motivating both internal 3M and external channel partner sales professionals in both live and virtual formats.

  • Manage and drive VOC/VOM process to identify opportunities based on customer insights to drive growth through new product introduction.

  • Execute New Product Introductions on the local level. Lead the development of all supporting content and tactics. Develop and deliver local sales forecast.

  • Lead the identification, prioritization, and selection of target customers by using segmentation and other market prioritization tools and techniques. Drive the use of appropriate tools and technologies to facilitate data-based business decisions and customer insights.

  • Demonstrate exemplary business acumen through analyzing market trends, customer insights, and financial analysis that leads to sustainable competitive advantage in the market

  • Become an agile strategic thinker who connects end to end business practices to advance ASD business.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university

  • Minimum of two (2) combined years of customer focused engagement experience in sales and/or marketing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent

  • Direct customer interface experience with strong knowledge of industrial market segments

  • Expertise in either the 3M Abrasives business or in the fundamentals of marketing.

Job Number: 17946 SUMMARY Under the general supervision of the Production Team Leader, is responsible for dough mixing, preparation, and supply to processing lines. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Mixes dough according to specifications for distribution to extruder line: Reads daily production schedule and plans accordingly; prepares mix according to established formulations as specified; properly mixes ingredients; monitors correct dough temperature/dough moisture, makes adjustments accordingly; monitors proofing belt; removes any product that is improperly formed or overlapped.

Mixes ingredients according to specifications to make slurry to coat seasoned products: Reads daily production schedule and plans accordingly; prepares mix according to established formulations as specified; properly mixes ingredients; monitors correct coverage amount, makes adjustments accordingly. Monitors and operates Quality Control Lab Equipment associated with checking finished product characteristics (moisture, salt, slurry oil coverage, etc.). Monitors overall quality.

Prepares and maintains sufficient raw material levels (i.e. meal, yeast, sponge, sale, etc.). Distributes dough to extruders on a timely basis. Monitors extruded pretzel weights and makes adjustments, as necessary, to confirm to processing standards. Keeps dough carts free from excess dough scraps.

May relieve processing department personnel for breaks/lunch. Observes and maintains all safe operating procedures while working around machines and moving parts. Assists other personnel in performance of their duties.

Practices and adheres to appropriate safety and hygiene guidelines/procedures for safe housekeeping and personal protection; keeps work area clean; stores supplies in designated areas; keeps work area aisles/exits clear and free from obstructions; removes trash from work area floor; follows instructions for safe lifting/carrying of various sizes, shapes, and weights of objects; identifies/reports defective equipment; reports all job-related injuries to Production Team. Performs sanitation assignments and shutdown cleanup duties as scheduled. Performs other job-related projects, duties and assignments as directed by Production Team Leader.
