Do you have an interest in working with wood? This position operates one of our electric Wood-Mizer bandsaws to remill recycled lumber into new timber products.

You will be milling all kinds of unique, historic recycled hardwood and softwood timbers including hand hewn timbers. The sawyer positions measures and cuts timbers to specific dimensions so you need attention to detail. You will also operate a forklift and chainsaw and be expected to keep a safe and clean work area.

You will be working in the great outdoors, but in a newly built covered wood shed. You must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. This position will keep you learning new things about wood.

You will need to do basic math calculations. You must be hard working and able to follow instructions provided by customers to mill to specifications. We will provide training to the right candidate who wants to be a sawyer.

  1. DUTIES: Hawker Pacific Aerospace, Sun Valley, CA is seeking an Abrasive Cleaner Technician I to support its Small Parts Cell Department.

Selected applicant will inspect, clean, and prepare, through steam cleaning and abrasive blasting, parts for nital etch, chrome, nickel, and cadmium plating. Responsibilities also include plastic media blasting and shot-peening. Two key requirements for these positions are: high motivation for teamwork and willingness to cross train.
