Principal Responsibilities:


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: JCC Greater Boston seeks a part-time Program Producer and Thought Partner to execute three to four major high-level speaker events. The Program Producer and Thought Partner will work with JCC professional staff and lay leaders to envision, develop, market and execute the Jon Samen Hot Buttons, Cool Conversations Series. This position reports to the VP Youth Service and Adult Engagement, JCC Greater Boston. Position goals and responsibilities are: * Collaborate to build a high caliber celebrity speaking series

  • Vision, research, develop and write positioning for all core panel concepts

  • Identify, reach out to and procure speakers and potential planning partners

  • Craft emails, letters, mission statements, and all correspondence related to panels

  • Write all marketing materials, including core concepts for internal and external distribution

  • Partner with the marketing team to create collateral materials

  • Manage outreach to panelists

  • Coordinate procurement of all panelist information (bios, head shots, special requests) * Manage the relationship with WGBH to broaden the scope of the audience beyond those in attendance

  • Develop and execute new ways to expand viewership beyond the in-person presentation

  • Coordinate with internal Marketing and Leadership team to build visibility and brand of the series and increase overall audience participation and engagement

  • Work with other internal JCC staff as appropriate

Minimum Qualifications:

Production Associate

Summary

Performs manual labor in the production area while assisting Department Supervisors

Duties and Responsibilities:

? Make sure ovens are running properly and are at the correct temperature at the beginning of the shift

? Monitor consumable manufacturing items (EFD syringes and tips, polyethylene gloves, etc.) inventories and make requests to Purchasing when reorder is necessary

? Make sure operators start production on time and go to and return from breaks on time

? Make sure work is received from the warehouse so there is work ready for the next shift

? Ensure all department personnel are flowing manufacturing procedures

? Make sure that operators who are generating initial paperwork know which lots should be assigned as priority (ie, needed for the'Ethox List'

? Make sure operators are working on products that are designated as priority (ie. needed for sterilization) before any other work

? Perform in-process inspections and make the appropriate signoffs.

? Assign work to department personnel and ensure efficient product flow

? Verify adhesive mixing tip is changed prior to adhesive dispensing

? Effectively communicate manufacturing or personnel issues to supervisors/managers/engineers

? Make sure rework lots are placed on hold shelf and that rework parts are returned to the lot before the lot advances

? Ensure paperwork is properly filled out and signed for at the completion of each step and that all paperwork is correct before releasing work to Quality Assurance

? Check items off the'Ethox List'as they are delivered to Quality Assurance

? Make sure personnel are properly requesting and returning components when applicable

? Other duties as assigned
