Position Description : We are looking for a dynamic Advanced Practice Provider (ACNP or PA-C) to join our Penn Medicine team managing the care of our Neurologic patients at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. This role enhances clinical best practice through a team model where advanced practice providers (APP) collaborate with Neurosurgeons, Neurocritical Care physicians and our multidisciplinary consult services.

With a high level of autonomy and expert skill our Neuroscience APPs direct the clinical management of the critically ill and injured (TBI, brain tumor, SCI, stroke) on the floor and in the ICU ensuring continuity of care for patients, their families and our hospital staff. Our APP integrates education, research, leadership, and consultation into practice through nursing and resident instruction, clinical trial & quality project participation, and hospital committee membership.

Full time position: six 13hr shifts in a two week period. There is a required 50/50 day/nights rotation and every 3rd to 4th weekend.

  • Responsible for operating machines that cut and slice food products such as red cabbage or PROCC romaine and Kale + Threads machine with adjusts dimensions, and cuts size of different products to meet the specifications.

  • Performs pre-shift equipment checks to ensure proper functioning as well as performs a post shift equipment check to ensure proper set up for sanitation or hands off to next shift.

  • Sets up and adjusts machines to run a variety of products sizes and types according to production schedule. Making sure the Final Package meets all finished Products specs. Rework control is a major part of their duties making sure machines is set up well enough to reduce rework to an acceptable level.

  • Stop, locks out/tags out or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machines jams, and reports malfunction to supervisor or manager. Notifies Maintenance in a timely fashion if/when unable to rectify problem independently and follows the communication protocol.

  • Performs quality checks ensuring finished units are marked with the correct size. Stop lines and notifies quality assurance and production management in the event of a non-conformance + Communicates with other production staff members to ensure efficient production, appropriate output levels and to minimize set-up times.

  • Monitors production line for malfunctions and adjusts machinery in accordance with policy and safety procedures to correct problems.

  • Cooperates with supervisors and managers and ensures compliance with all Company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP), Hazard Communication, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 21 - Section 110.

  • Performs preventative maintenance checks throughout shift and advised PMO Lead of equipment malfunctions.
