Linde is currently seeking an Acetylene Cylinder Requalification Technician to join the team in the Twinsburg, OH area.
Purpose of the Position:
This position performs routine daily cylinder requalification work assignments including visual inspection, valve replacement, blasting, painting, handling, shipping, and minor equipment maintenance. The individual must follow industry and government guidelines and adhere to all company safety requirements. This employee works regularly with and around hazardous materials.
The position's primary responsibilities include:

Maintains work areas clean and organized.
Ability and willingness to work extended hours and weekends, as necessary.

Perform salvage and reclaim processes to core components
Setup, Run and read CNC programming machining centers using set up sheets

What you will do:
The Cylinder Filler & Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely handling and filling gas products into liquid, medical and high pressure gas cylinders in compliance with federal, state, local regulations, and meeting the standard operating procedures of Airgas as well as being responsible for the safe and orderly stocking, storing, and labeling of all incoming materials and supplies at the location's warehouse for future redistribution. The associate will additionally be responsible for the picking, packing and distribution of materials and supplies for delivery via outside carriers or local Airgas drivers to the customer's location.
Inspects cylinders prior to filling, following standard procedures as required by government, Airgas, and distributor standards. Conducts a variety of Safety checks per procedures, such as odor tests, checking caps and valves. Analyzes products for purity and correct mixtures.
Handles high-pressure, medical and liquid cylinders. Prepares high pressure cylinders and cryogenic vessels for filling. Attaches to manifold, evacuates cylinders to eliminate all possible contaminants. Fills cylinders by pressure and weight, per regulations and standards.
Assists with the loading & unloading of cylinders on & off pallets and tractor trailers. Operates a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
Manages paperwork to DOT, FDA, OSHA, and Airgas standards. Completes quality control sheets as required.
Understands hazards of various gases; size and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks. Accurately labels cylinders.
Complies with all government and company standards relating to the safe handling of hazardous materials/cylinder gases.
Stocks, stores, labels, picks/packs and distributes materials and supplies.
Validates delivery of materials and provides a physical receipt.
Performs periodic inventory of warehouse materials as directed.
Organizes and controls site warehouse inventoried items.
Reviews incoming and outgoing product invoices per Company policy.

Cylinder Valve Assembler
This position is primarily responsible for the inspection, assembly, filling, testing and packing of low volume/high mix SCBA cylinders including set-up of test equipment, and assembly of the cylinder valves. This position is also responsible for performing various tests and inspections throughout these processes to ensure that component parts are assembled according to drawings.
