Description This position is responsible for setting up and operating the mechanical dumper while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. #

Tasks Applicants will be considered for any general production opening. These openings require standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, shoveling, climbing stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, bending, stretching, reaching, working in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors.

Must be able to use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions. Maintain clean work area by use of soap and high pressure hose. Must be able to read and complete required logs.

Must be able to communicate with supervisor and co-workers via two-way radio. May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. May be required to operate frontend loader or forklift and will be required to obtain certification to do so. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview. #

Entry Level Operator Assistant I - Frac Acid

Employer will be interviewing at Mission CEED (801 N Bryan Rd, Mission, TX 78572) on Wednesday, September 27th, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. JOB SITE ADDRESS LOCATED AT MURPHY, ODESSA TX 79763 Experience: Not required; employer willing to train.

Oilfield experience is preferred, but not required Education: HSD/GED required; must be able to read and understand policies and procedures to perform job adequately. Language: Must be able to speak, write, and read English to communicate effectively with staff.

Driver's License: Class C - Standard Driver's License required; Class A CDL is preferred, but not required per company policies. Requirements: Must pass a background check Must pass a drug test.

Must pass a physical. Duties: Under strict supervision, learns basic safety and repair procedures on PSL equipment using the I Learn competency process defined for this job role. Learns basic operations to include but not limited to: (1) performing pre/post job equipment inspections, (2) performing and completing preventative maintenance procedures, (3) maintaining support equipment (i.e., pumps, treating lines etc.). Completes requisite training (essential math, essential red book, safety training, etc.) following I Learn's career development system processes.

Assists in the clean up, repair, and preparation for a job. May be asked to assist during the rigging up and down of service line equipment at the wellsite. Error is readily ascertainable by the supervisor and can be corrected.

Skills are acquired by completing the career development requirements in I Learn's competency management system for Operator Assistant I. Must have successfully passed company tests and met competency Task Lists requirements. The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations is required.

Reading comprehension and writing skills are required. Basic computer skills are preferred. Licensure to drive commercial vehicles is required.

Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable health, safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement processes. This is the entry level position into the Service Operator job family.
