SHIFT DAYS AND TIME: 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm Monday – Friday 
Temp to Perm Position 
Position Summary 
Perform system and/or manual tasks to support inbound and outbound operations. Perform tasks in various functional areas such as customer order picking, packing, stocking, quality control, loading and unloading freight. Perform work under the direction of warehouse lead, supervisor or manager. 
What You’ll Do: 
• Perform tasks to process customer orders accurately and timely 
• Participate in all scheduled physical inventories 
• Perform basic housekeeping in assigned areas of the warehouse 
• Adhere to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties 
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned 
What You’ll Need: 
• Regular and reliable attendance is required

Job Description

Summary: Order Filler Position
An Order Filler for CapitalTristate is responsible for pulling/picking material from stock, preparing/checking customer orders to be delivered for different routes, and loading trucks with conduit and pipe to ensure the accuracy and completeness of each order to be delivered to CapitalTristate customers or CapitalTristate locations the following morning.
Responsibilities:
  • Pulling specific material and placing in correct routing area using RF bar code scanner
  • Verify the product and quantity against the order using RF bar code scanner
  • Operate various types of material handling equipment (forklift, reach truck, order selector, cherry picker, pallet jacks)
  • Organize correct material on pallets to be loaded on truck
  • Generate shipping labels and apply label to material
  • Verify and report any shortages, discrepancies, or errors to the manager
  • Load trucks with miscellaneous product from order
  • Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
  • Be on time and work diligently with co-workers
  • Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day
  • Other duties as required
    Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School or GED
  • 1-2 years warehouse experience in a fast paced large distribution center
  • Recent reach forklift and/or cherry picker experience
  • Good and dependable mathematics, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on regular basis; up to 70 lbs. occasionally
  • Reliable, responsible, and a great work ethic
