Position Summary This Development Associate III position will contribute to the optimization of manufacturing processes for Alexion’s biotherapeutic candidates and to the development of nucleic acid analytical/characterization methods. This position will be involved in development efforts ranging from discovery to early-stage clinical manufacture. ResourceMFG Search Group is currently seeking Flexographic Press Helper. The press helper’s duty is to ensure that all plates are mounted, inks, substrate and anilox’s are staged per the press schedule as to facilitate the operator’s ability to efficiently make ready and run the press. Duties also include cleaning the press, cleaning / filing plates, returning inks and substrates to the proper storage locations in keeping with correct segregation and inventory practices.

 Read and thoroughly understand the Job Ticket before starting each job

 Stage appropriate inks / coatings / primers / adhesives, substrates and mount plates for the upcoming jobs

 Once jobs are completed clean, demount plates without damage and file plates appropriately
o Advise Pre-press if any plates are damaged and need to be remade

 File away inks, anilox and substrates from outgoing jobs

 Make Flexo Plates as required (as backup to plate making)

 Train to make ready / setup the flexo presses and run jobs as backup to Operators

 Produce jobs according to the specifications and instructions written on the job ticket

 Produce jobs at a quality level that meets or exceeds the customers’ satisfaction

 Properly identify and “flag” labels that have questionable quality

 Minimize unnecessary waste and spoilage of materials such as paper, ink, chemicals and other supplies

The Planner Scheduler position ensures all maintenance activities are coordinated, scheduled and executed to meet contract requirements. Utilizes Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to develop job plans for repair activities and assign work to the appropriate field technician or subcontractor. Ensures materials and tools are available, appropriate parts and skill level are identified , SOW is adequate to identify all task for accomplishment of the work and safety requirements are identified prior to work commencing. Works closely with the Director, Planning & Scheduling, Regional Managers, Site Managers, Site Personnel, Monitoring Center, and subcontractors to coordinate maintenance/service activities at power Plant sites across the nation.
The following responsibilities are not limited to:

  • Efficiently and effectively schedule Power Plant Field Technicians and Subcontractors nationwide to perform general, preventative, and corrective maintenance.
  • Manage short and long term service schedules and be able to report schedules on a weekly basis
  • Works closely with the Director of Planning , Reginal/Site Managers, Site Field Technicians, Monitoring Center, and subcontractors to coordinate maintenance/service activities at Solar Power Plant sites
  • Ensures material and tools are available, appropriate parts and skill level is identified, SOW is adequate to identify all tasks for accomplishment of the work.
  • Utilizes the CMMS system to develop job plans for repair activities and assign work to the appropriate technician or subcontractor.
  • Ensure CMMS service information, tech/subcontractor time, material usages, etc. is complete and accurately recorded for each service work order.
  • Ensure corrective maintenance is identified from reports and CMMS input from field, Client authorizes work, work order created and scheduled, and quality report is submitted to clients when work has been completed
  • Coordinated all outages with the MaxGen Monitoring Center to ensure proper notification is given to the transmission and utility entities within the required time frame and that confirmation has been received to proceed with the work as scheduled.
  • Coordinate activities with other area of the department such as the DG Field Service group to ensure full utilization of resources.
  • Requirements (2) year degree and or multiple years of Power Plant Maintenance Planning & Scheduling or related experience. 
  • Experience in Planning/Scheduling or maintaining utility scale Solar Power plants
