Essential Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science and engineering

  • Processing experience in polymers, especially different type of adhesives

  • Knowledge in polymers especially adhesives and additives

  • 1-3 yrs industrial experience

  • Strong awareness of safety of chemicals and processing

  • Scientific and technical ability to design and execute polymer/adhesive formulation and processing

  • Experiences in analytical methods such as UV-vis, FT- IR, GPC, thermal analysis, etc.

  • Experience in the evaluation of polymer/adhesive mechanical properties

  • Highly motivated and self-driven with the ability to work independently and in an interdisciplinary group setting on multi-task under aggressive timeline to support team and corporate objectives

  • Strong communication skills and excellent problem solving ability

Duties:

  • Work in a team based environment to manufacture high quality custom oligonucleotides in a high throughput, fast paced setting. Essential Functions include but are not limited to the following: Manufacture Oligonucleotides/Custom Primers for use in the biotech industry by following established protocols and SOPs.
  • Operate semi-automated and automated basic lab equipment. Regularly evaluate non-routine test results and either fail the product or allow it to continue through the production cycle.
