CHOICES is currently running on MS Dynamics CRM 2011 and is being upgraded to 2013. This upgrade involves installing new servers and software to support this newer version of Dynamics, upgrading highly customized forms, and re-architecting processes to be supported in the newer version.

1) OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:
The individual is responsible for performing dynamic impact simulation independently. He/She will also be responsible for developing new and time saving finite element modeling techniques.
2) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A) Implement proper Engineering Approach in Design Process.
B) Responsible for design validation with respect to applicable requirements utilizing analytical process and testing as necessary.
C) Analyze design and test data to implement proper engineering approach into FE model.
D) Implement analytical approach and establish correlation with actual test data.
E) Will set up the model for impact simulation for 16 and 14G loading conditions using Altair
tools and/or LS-prepost .
F) Perform FEA on detail parts and assemblies to verify compliance with structural and occupant injury criteria.
G) Perform necessary linear/non-linear static analysis and dynamic simulation.
H) Perform Pre and Post processing.
I) Perform topology analysis and shape/weight optimization using Altair Opti-Struct.
J) Perform FEA on composite structures and injection molded part.
K) Work with design and certification engineers as well as with test laboratory to provide best possible designs.
L) Comply with Zodiac Seats procedures (QAP) and certification internal procedures.
M) Document all design validation work (including FEA) and maintain database.

A) Knowledge and skills:
1. Must have a strong background in structural engineering and strength of materials.

3. Must have FEA experience using LS-Dyna or Radioss. In addition, must have experience using Altair HyperWorks suite or ANSYS. Knowledge of NASTRAN or ABAQUS is preferred.
4. Knowledge of stochastic/statistical tools (DOE) and Optimization tools is preferred.
5. Knowledge of composites is required. Must understand failure mode for sandwich composites and design layups for seat structures.
6. Knowledge of modeling seat belts is required.
7. Must have excellent knowledge of ATDs (Anthropomorhic test device) hardware and models.
8. Must be detail oriented and have sound engineering judgment.
9. Must be self-motivated and a self-starter.

The Design Analysis Group at Mercury Marine is looking for a CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) engineer to improve the design of marine engines, drive systems, and vessels for optimized fluid flow and heat transfer using computational fluid dynamics software. Roles and Responsibilities: * The analyst will be responsible for optimizing the flow and heat transfer of internal combustion engine components as well as modeling boat hull drag, propeller performance, and cavitation.
Must be able to work independently when needed to develop solutions with little supervision. Must also be able to work well with cross-functional groups.
The analyst will work closely with design engineers to help provide design inputs that will improve the product.
The analyst will work closely with test engineers to specify testing and instrumentation needed to validate results and new methods. Required Qualifications: * Minimum Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer
Exposure to numerical methods and engineering analysis
