SUMMARY

The Lead HV Field Testing Engineer will be the primary resource for performing MV/HV testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to all of our utility scale solar sites on a continual/on-demand basis on equipment such as but not limited to transformers, substations, switchgear, etc. This role will also be responsible for assisting in the utilization and training of O&M Technicians and to establish O&M support for solar sites.This role will also include Project Management responsibilities as needed, ensuring proper scheduling of reoccurring work to meet contractual requirements, acquiring and maintaining required test equipment/supplies, and resource planning.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The following responsibilities are not limited to:
  • Ensuring a safe environment at all times
  • Testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of solar site MV/HV equipment such as transformers, substations, switchyards, switchgear, relays, breakers, etc.
  • Assisting as needed in training personnel on MV/HV equipment

POSITION SUMMARY: Serves as a Test Engineer, Lead (LL.TRN62&63) for the Integrated Personnel and Pay System–Army (IPPS-A).
