Transport baggage within the baggage handling area.
Report any issues found that could potentially lead to additional system failures.
Complete entry level Maintenance Mechanic duties as needed.

Lift up to 70 lbs. on a regular basis.
Comply with company safety program and trainings.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
While performing the duties of a Bag Jam Clearer, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Ability to work in outside weather conditions on an airport ramp around aircrafts and the confined areas of baggage conveyor systems. Specific vision abilities required by this job include good close proximity vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Good hand / eye coordination is required.
The work environment is similar to airport operation with vehicular traffic. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, cold, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Employees will work on an airport ramp around aircrafts and around heavy equipment.

US Minerals is looking for Bagging Operators to join our growing organization! The individual in this position will primarily operate a bagging machine and its associated support equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Drive and operate plant forklifts and skid steers
- Load flat bed and box type truck trailers
- Start and operate the machine that packages product. Regulate machine flow and speed.
- Stop or reset machine when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a supervisor
- Monitor the production line, watching for problems such as pile-ups or jams
- Stock and sort product for filling machine operation and replenish packaging supplies such as paper bags, shrink wrap, plastic over-packs, boxes, cartons, and labels
- Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material
- Remove finished packaged items from machine and separate rejected items
- Supply materials to conveyors, hoppers, or other feeding devices and unload packaged product
- Package the product in the form in which it will be shipped such as filling bags with product granules from a chute or spout
- Count and record finished and rejected packaged items
- Attach identification labels to finished packaged items and stencil information on containers, such as lot numbers or shipping destinations
- Stack finished packaged items on pallets and wrap protective material around each item. Once secured transport palletized materials to a storage area
- Clean packaging containers and bagging machine area
- Clean, oil, and make minor adjustments or repairs to machinery and equipment, such as opening valves or setting guides
- Clean and remove damaged or otherwise inferior materials to prepare raw products for processing
