Great attitude, knowledgeable and professional Installer with a minimum 5 years residential experience.
MUST be EPA certified, drug free, pass a background check, have a clean MVR and happy to work weekends and after hours during busy times.
Must be able to figure out complex issues and work unassisted. Also, must be able to climb ladders, crawl under houses, handle extreme temperatures and lift and maneuver heavy equipment.
Side work will NOT be permitted under any circumstances.
Earn up to $80,000 per year, depending on skill level and willingness to succeed.

J.R. Bolton's heating & cooling department has what it takes to ensure maximum comfort and energy efficiency in our clients' homes. Our technicians make sure that heating and cooling systems and home insulation are always performing like they should.
J.R. Bolton installs foam insulation and a variety of insulation materials for the whole house. We can also repair water heaters and furnaces, and clean and seal duct work. We have a showroom which displays our fireplaces, gas grills, gas lanterns, wood-stoves and heating & cooling related products.
J.R. Bolton natural gas piping technicians are fully trained to tackle any gas related problem in clients' homes.

These positions are located in the HVAC Shop, Facilities Management Service at VA New Jersey Health Care System, at the East Orange Campus. Incumbent installs, troubleshoots, and makes repairs on various refrigeration and air conditioning units and systems such as walk-in coolers, refrigerators, ice machines, freezers, evaporating fans, window air conditioning units and similar equipment. Assists other mechanics on larger or more complex systems or equipment, such as the centralized chiller plant systems and the Building Automation System.
Incumbent works from oral instructions, blueprints, schematics, and work orders. Traces and locates defects to determine the type and extent of repair needed, plans the work, selects the proper tools and testing devices, and accomplishes repairs according to accepted trade practices. PHYSICAL EFFORT: Incumbent occasionally lifts objects over 50 pounds and uses chain hoist when lifting heavier objects.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is generally performed indoors with adequate light and ventilation. Occasionally, work is done outside where the Operator is subject to a variety of weather conditions.
Incumbent may have to work in hot, cramped and dirty environments and occasionally in areas of temperature extremes of 100 degrees Fahrenheit and above. Incumbent is exposed to the possibility of burns while working on steam and hot water equipment. Noise level is often high, sometimes requiring hearing protection to prevent hearing loss.
Other protective equipment such as goggles, gloves and masks may be needed periodically. Occasionally, the incumbent works in contaminated areas and is exposed to communicable diseases when changing filters, etc. The A/C Equipment Operator is also subject to noxious gases, cuts, bruises, falls and scrapes.
Qualifications Your background must demonstrate experience in inspecting
, testing, troubleshooting, servicing, maintaining, repairing and installing complete central, package and window air conditioning systems; and a variety of refrigeration systems and equipment. EXPERIENCE: A specific length of training and experience is not required, but you must show evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality of your ability to do the work of this position. Evidence which demonstrates you possess the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of this position must be supported by detailed descriptions of such on your resume or OF-612.
