Description/Job SummaryExemplary Duties/Responsibilities: * Involves the loading and unloading of graphite parts into reactor type processing equipment with extreme caution to prevent the possibility of breaking, shipping or cracking of the fabricated part.

  • Operate and regulate electric furnaces and/or reactors to process materials in accordance with directions and established procedures.

  • Start up and shut down furnaces and/or reactors, regulate temperatures and process time cycles; perform security checks during processing cycles.

  • Monitor power fluctuations, water temperatures and gas flows being constantly alert for leaks of dangerous gases or chemicals.

  • Assist with the preparation of special racks for holding graphite parts and the fabrication of simple graphite replacement parts for processing equipment.

  • Maintain accurate and up to date production records.

  • Responsible for the cleaning of processing equipment and performing highly repetitive and routine visual, dimensional and mechanical inspection of graphite utilizing standardized inspection and testing methods.

  • Other duties may involve the replacement of tubes, felt, etc in furnaces, cleaning parts and furnaces along with general maintenance and housekeeping in the area.

  • Continually improve and monitor quality through product delivery, conformance and performance.

Minimum Qualifications: Suggested high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Our Houston, TX office is currently looking for a Service Lead for Air Compliance Consulting Services. As a Service Lead with Terracon’s Houston office, you will be responsible for obtaining and managing Air Compliance projects, primarily focused on air compliance and permitting for the up, mid, and down - stream oil and gas sector and various industrial/manufacturing sectors; developing relationships with potential clients; and generating project opportunities. The geographic focus will primarily be in Texas, but will include regional and national projects. Requirements

Position Details:
The contractor shall provide Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) support services.    The quality of care provided shall meet or exceed the standards of professional nursing health care as identified by the Joint Commission of Accreditation for Hospital Organizations (JACHO). 
PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Possess a valid license to practice as a practical nurse or vocational nurse, from a United States (US) jurisdiction.
  • Shall be CPR certified.
  • Completed a program in an accredited school of nursing, acceptable to the Surgeon General, United States Air Force.
  • Personnel shall have 12 months experience, in the last 24 months of working with medical/surgical patients, preferable with rehabilitation patients or orthopedic patients.
  • Contractor shall provide written verification of qualifications.  Licensure and certification, upon request, of the Contracting Officer (CO) or authorized representative.
Contractor personnel shall be current on all immunizations, including Tuberculosis and shall have received a Hepatitis B vaccine, sign a voluntary declination, or have documented proof of immunity to Hepatitis B infection.  The Contractor shall provide to the CO, upon request, certification that Contractor personnel have completed the medical evaluation required.
HOURS OF OPERATION:  Routine services shall be provided Monday through Fridays, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., excluding Federal Holidays (New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr’s Birthday, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.      
SPECIFIC PROCEDURES FOR WHICH THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE:
Performs a variety of nursing care activities and responsibilities in the care and treatment of handicapped (quadriplegic) federal employee, as well as health care maintenance.
Provides intermittent catheterization, to include preparing patient for catheterization, inserting and removal of catheter, draining and disposal of waste, and redressing of patient.  Catheterization shall be provided on an as-needed basis.
Assists in patient feeding, to include preparation and cleaning of eating area.
Assists patient, as needed, in bowel evacuation procedures.
