Global Marketing Manager, Skin Care
Ashland has an exciting marketing opportunity! The Global Marketing Manager for Skin Care will help accelerate Ashland's growth in Skin Care (rinse-off / leave-on, Sun Care, and/or Color Cosmetics by serving as a thought leader and coordinator between R&D, Global Sales, and Marketing Communications. Key responsibilities include (1) Managing and growing our innovation pipeline, (2) Building our marketing collateral and brand equity in the market, and (3) Internally developing our organization via trainings, continuous improvement audits, and M&A evaluations.
(1) Manage and grow the innovation pipeline
Manage the ideation process to collect and prioritize inputs to the R&D pipeline

(3) Internally develop our organization
Conduct sales trainings on newly released products and market positioning
Monitor competitive landscape, including annual share and bid information
Work with our Digital Strategist to monitor the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and improve our lead generation performance over time
Participate in M&A evaluations to grow Ashland inorganically
As global manager, coordinate skin care marketing efforts across regions
This position is located in Bridgewater, NJ or Wilmington, DE.
This job is based on a ladder structure and the job level (salary) will be determined by the quantity and quality of your experience.
3+ years' experience in marketing -specialty chemicals / ingredients for the personal care market, ideally skin care, sun care, and/or color cosmetics preferred. Sales experience a plus.
Bachelor degree required-preference in technical field preferred. MBA strongly preferred.
Expertise in building business plans for new product introduction including market sizing and validation required.
10% travel required.
Collaborative team player with experience participating in and leading multi-functional (sales / R&D) teams.

The student will work in the Faculty offices of Brigham Dermatology and in the administrative offices of The Center for Cutaneous Oncology of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, with their own computer work space and access to their supervisor, clinical research coordinators and Clinical Research Manager. Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women's Hospital are teaching affiliates of Harvard Medical School, where our physicians and researchers are faculty members. Our clinicians at BWH/DFCI Cutaneous Oncology focus exclusively on skin cancers. They combine their expertise in dermatologic oncology, medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, and dermatopathology to create the most effective treatment plans specific to your needs.
Students will participate in survey development and administration for patients who are suffering from skin cancers and skin side effects from cancer therapy•Assist in data extraction from surveys•Collect surveys from providers in the Brigham Dermatology Clinics and DFCI Cutaneous Oncology Clinics•Perform data entry from these surveys and from clinical and laboratory features in patients with toxicities•Participate in the development of patient education materials, depending on the student's personal goals and interests• Participate in the writing of small case series related to the data collection or specific patients in this population• Students will have the opportunity to participate in a larger retrospective research project if desired• Students will have the opportunity to attend clinical research meetings in the department
