This position is under the immediate supervision of the Director of Health Services and performs all professional duties as outlined in the corporate Skin Management Program. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Chairperson of Skin Care Team. 2.Oversees the skin and wound documentation in patient/resident’s medical record. 3.Instructs, educates, and trains staff in wound care and incontinence programs to prevent skin breakdown, heal existing wounds, and maintains patient/resident’s comfort. Provides training for new partners during orientation. 4.Attendance to all sessions of certification training.Completed or in process of completing tests on Acute and Chronic Wounds. 5.Task skills completed per Nurse Consultant or designee with documentation to include: 1) aseptic treatment procedure, and 2) admission or re-admission of patient/resident to the healthcare center with skin breakdown. (May use admissions without skin breakdown with permission of Wound Care Consultant.) 6.Collaborates with physician and/or nurses regarding recommendations for wound and skin care following the company’s formulary. 7.Performs wound care and/or treatments following physician orders using aseptic or sterile technique following orders and policy. 8.Uses universal precautions and maintain infection control standards when performing treatments and disposing of soiled dressings.

Provides patient/resident privacy when performing care. 9.Oversees observation of all patients/residents with wounds for needed pain management during wound or dressing; identification of need will be reported to the healthcare center Pain Management Coordinator. 10.Follows up on all reported skin conditions to determine need for treatment and contacts physician for treatment orders, if needed. Documents in treatment book and medical record as needed. 11.Keeps treatment cart clean, locked, and with adequate stock levels. Orders wound care supplies in a timely manner to maintain adequate levels.

Reports concerns related to maintenance of treatment care or stock levels to DHS. 12.Monitors pressure redistribution devices for proper working condition. Reports problems to DHS and/or Maintenance Department. Replaces any equipment not working properly. 13.Monitors staff and patients/residents for adherence to wound care program, use of pressure redistribution devices, and assists with monitoring incontinent care. 14.Oversees observations of all chronic and complex areas on a weekly schedule according to the Documentation of Skin and Wound Care Policy.

Information will be documented according to the Documentation of Skin and Wound Care Policy. Will oversee notification of the physician and legal representative of any changes in wounds or treatments. 15.Oversees review of implementation of nutritional protocol as needed. Reviews labs and requests orders for labs pertaining to wound status as needed. 16.Oversees completion of weekly reports (Pressure Ulcer and Wounds Other Than Pressure Ulcers). Submits copies to DHS, Wound Care Consultant, Care Plan Coordinator and any other person as indicated, in a timely manner. 17.Completes Section “M” of MDS on all patients/residents, assists with information pertinent to RAP #16, and adds interventions or changes to care plans as needed. 18.Oversees reporting any significant changes in patients/resident’s condition to Charge Nurse, Case Mix Director, legal representative, physician and Director of Health Services. 19.Monitors, as scheduled by center, compliance of weekly skin observations Repots to DHS any not-compliance issues. 20.Evaluates treatments on a weekly basis and recommends changes in treatment as necessary.

Reviews and completes risk observations according to the Risk Observation: Skin Integrity Policy on all new admissions, re-admissions, quarterly and yearly MDS, with each significant change MDS and with clinical change of condition. 21.Oversees skin observations on all new admissions/re-admissions and documents the results in skin notes and on appropriate forms. If not present during admission, will follow-up on next duty day present in the healthcare center.

If skin observationsare not completed timely on admission/readmission, this is to be reported to DHS for follow-up 22.Observes all new admissions/re-admissions for appropriate preventive measures to prevent skin breakdown. Implements placement of appropriate pressure redistribution devices and skin/wound care procedures. 23.Assists Wound Care Nurse (corporate and specialty bed company) in any manner necessary. 24.Does Part B wound care registration for patients/residents with wounds meeting DMERC guidelines. 25.Audits treatment sheets and physician order sheets at the end of the month to correct and complete orders for each treatment being done. 26.Supervises assigned Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

Qualifications MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse in (State) which practicing and has met the requirements to become a Skin Integrity Coordinator with annual updates.

Certification test grade of no less than 90 of 128 possible points. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A minimum of two (2) years previous bed side nursing experience.Experience with would care and procedures.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Current and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in state of practice.Has met the requirements to become a Skin Integrity Coordinator.Maintains required annual skills updates. Our brand is branching out and growing into the skin care field, and we need a go-getter with plenty of experience.  The most important service skill needed is eyelash extensions. We need a skilled, expert technician able to perform eyelash extensions. Please be ready to supply us with referrals, images of work you've done.  We do not expect you to import an existing client list of your personal customers, but that is your prerogative to do so.

Of secondary importance, we are looking for a skin care expert able to perform basic body waxing, brazilians, face, brow and lip waxing. If you can do both, that is even better.  An ideal candidate will be able to do both, but if waxing is your forte and you can prove beneficial to our company you should still apply.

Thirdly, we will want to train you to do custom spray tanning, as our current demand is more than we can meet with our existing staff.

Skin Care Spa Office Associate (Part Time) (Orlando, FL)

Immediate part time opening for sales associate of TSecret in Orlando, FL. (College Park neighborhood.)

Compensation: pay will start at $12 per hour. After 3 month training period, hourly wage will increase based on performance and may also be supplemented by commissions based on sales.

Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday, a variation of weekdays (either evenings from 5:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. or mornings from 8:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.).

We have been in business since 1998 and are currently poised for expansion and growth; we would like to hire someone looking for a long term, stable position. Ideally we will hire an individual with the potential for growth within the company to eventual full time status. Skin Care/Spa background not required; we will train the right person.
