Position Summary The PR consultant builds relationships with US journalists, editors, social media influencers and commentators to increase brand awareness throughout the year. They will need to know about the product range, manufacturing process, ingredients, sustainability and factory vetting processes to share with external connections.

They will act as the brand ambassador and key contact for all things Bulldog in the US, leveraging creative assets developed by the Bulldog UK team. The PR consultant will also create and increase brand impressions throughout the beauty industries i.e. skincare, fashion, cosmetics etc. This role will act as a part-time consultant to the Edgewell team and own the Bulldog branding efforts in the US.

  • Set and achieve personal sales goals while supporting the goals of the team

  • Greet customers in a timely, professional and engaging manner

  • Provide honest and confident feedback to customers regarding products

  • Build lasting relationships with customers by contacting them to follow up on purchases, suggest new products and invite them to upcoming events

  • Consistently seek new trend and product knowledge to act as an expert for the customer

  • Open new Nordstrom RewardsTMaccounts as a means of building customer relationships

  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business results

  • Manage the scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions

  • Communicate business opportunities that include line performance, stock levels and team motivation/recognition

  • Perform daily department maintenance tasks including stock work, re-merchandising, display, price markdowns, merchandise transfers and light cleaning Qualifications

  • Have a high school diploma, or equivalent (preferred) * Proven ability to set and achieve sales goals

  • Competitive drive and entrepreneurial confidence to succeed in a commission-based environment

  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and coworkers

  • Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about cosmetic trends

  • Ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes

  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
