The Skin Care Program Coordinator follows established standards of care and assists in the development of evidence based practice. The Coordinator will have the clinical competencies to provide specialize consults to meet wound, ostomy, continent patient needs, and provide training programs to ensure clinical expertise within the scope of WOC nurse guidelines. The Skin Care Program Coordinator Co-leads the Skin Care Team to develop and implement strategies to prevent and treat hospital-acquired pressure ulcers.

In collaboration with the medical staff the Skin Care Program Coordinator provides consultation for complex wound, ostomy and incontinence patients. Must have certification from recognized WOCN Program Qualifications Education/Experience: Must have certification from recognized WOCN Program.

Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Massachusetts. Bachelor degree required, Masters preferred. Minimum of 5 years of licensed professional nursing experience required.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in wound /Ostomy care management and education. Scheduled Hours 24 hours per week, W-F, 8 hour shifts, occasional weekend, cross campus coverage.
