Job Summary:

Communicates back and forth with Drivers to assist with problem resolution while on route. Handles incoming service orders, directs drivers, and resolves service issues.

Interacts with customers, including customer service, sales, and operational staff (i.e. Route Managers, Mechanics etc.). Uses software to enter ticket information and track activity. Shifts vary with the potential for overtime and Saturday hours depending particular site needs. Some initial travel (up to 15%) may be required to assist with centralization efforts.

Our client, an established transportation company in Carleton MI, is looking to add a Dispatch Clerk to their team!

Pay for this position is $12.50/ hour.  Work hours are Monday through Friday, from approximately 12:00 PM-8:30 AM. (Candidates will train on days, but this opening is on midnight's)

Job Description: The dispatch clerk will support the quality system, and internet sites. They will also be responsible for recording track numbers, and input data entry into the computer system.

  • Schedule all pick up and deliveries
