Rework control is a major part of their duties making sure machines is set up well enough to reduce rework to an acceptable level.

  • Stop, locks out/tags out or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machines jams, and reports malfunction to supervisor or manager. Notifies Maintenance in a timely fashion if/when unable to rectify problem independently and follows the communication protocol.

  • Performs quality checks ensuring finished units are marked with the correct size. Stop lines and notifies quality assurance and production management in the event of a non-conformance + Communicates with other production staff members to ensure efficient production, appropriate output levels and to minimize set-up times.

  • Monitors production line for malfunctions and adjusts machinery in accordance with policy and safety procedures to correct problems.

  • Cooperates with supervisors and managers and ensures compliance with all Company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP), Hazard Communication, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 21 - Section 110.

  • Performs preventative maintenance checks throughout shift and advised PMO Lead of equipment malfunctions.

  • Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and overtime as business needs.

    Stack swatches/strips on pallet or buggy by size. Place bright green 8.5”x11” paper/tag on top swatch of pallet containing Mezz swatches (52Z) that were delivered on short truck. This will signify that this is a rush pallet.

    Move loaded buggy or pallet to appropriate work in process area. Alert the lead cutter if any quality problems are spotted on carpet swatches or strips. Must adhere to a normal work schedule, ie., starting and stopping times and where applicable, rotating day. Must attend job on a regular basis and comply with the Corporate Absenteeism and Tardiness Policy.
