Primary Purpose of Position:
Tend plastic molding or casting machines to mold or cast thermoplastic products.
Observe continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure that products meet specifications and to detect jams or malfunctions, making adjustments as necessary.
Visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects to ensure conformance to specifications.
Position and secure work pieces on machines, and start feeding mechanisms.
Turn valves and dials of machines to regulate pressure, temperature, and speed and feed rates, and to set cycle times.
Remove finished products from molding machine.
Observes plant safety rules.Helps to identify and eliminate any safety hazard or concern.Assists in monitoring of quality of work output and maintenance procedures.
Assists in conducting operations so as to meet established cost standards for use of materials, supplies and equipment.Follows instructions in the most efficient use of tools, machines and materials.
Maintains a neat and orderly working area and assists other departments in the cleanliness and organization of working areas when projects overlap other department areas.

CNC Laser Cutting Machine Operator
Second shift CNC 5 axis milling machine operator position available. CNC operators load programs, set up machine, load/unload machine, make adjustments to the machine to control speed, material feed and performance, perform daily operator PM's, inspect product to ensure it is defect-free and ready for the next step in production.
First shift runs from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Second shift runs from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am. Monday through Thursday. (compensation includes a Shift Differential)
· Must have minimum 2 years CNC Operator experience or related schooling
· Will be working Primarily with aluminum
· Must have attention to detail

2:30 p.m. Summary: This associate has experience with various manufacturing (i.e. die-cutters, screening presses, various machining equipment) machines in this Value Stream.
The position requires the Associate to set up, run, do limited troubleshooting and interpret and follow work instructions. They will have a complete understanding of the operation and safety requirements for various machines within the Value Stream.
This position is expected to have full knowledge of product quality, processes and procedures.
Associate must be able to meet production schedules and strive to achieve or improve cost estimates. . Responsibilities/Duties include but are not limited to: Set up and run product based on established job rates. Post rates achieved hourly on run boards.
Communicate rate deficiencies to management and engineering per prescribed procedures. Perform quality inspections per Quality Department procedures and Engineering work instructions and document results. Responsible for accurate documentation of inspection, equipment maintenance, and work instruction improvements.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment per Engineering procedures and ensure charts or logs are up to date. Positively contribute to company's quality and production goals. Contributes to a safe work environment and reports to Management any unsafe working conditions.

The Diverse Cut operator machine sets up, adjusts, inspects and operates automated cutter machines and equipment including but not limited to: Diverse cutter, segment cutter and Trans slicer machines. This individual is responsible for monitoring the products sizes and ensuring equipment is consistently running successfully
Performs pre-shift equipment checks to ensure proper functioning as well as performs a post shift equipment check to ensure proper set up for sanitation or hands off to next shift.
Sets up and adjusts machines to run a variety of products sizes and types according to production schedule. Making sure the Final Package meets all finished Products specs. Rework control is a major part of their duties making sure machines is set up well enough to reduce rework to an acceptable level.
Stop, locks out/tags out or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machines jams, and reports malfunction to supervisor or manager. Notifies Maintenance in a timely fashion if/when unable to rectify problem independently and follows the communication protocol.
Performs quality checks ensuring finished units are marked with the correct size. Stop lines and notifies quality assurance and production management in the event of a non-conformance + Communicates with other production staff members to ensure efficient production, appropriate output levels and to minimize set-up times.
Monitors production line for malfunctions and adjusts machinery in accordance with policy and safety procedures to correct problems.
