Stoneway Concrete, a division of Merlino Construction is seeking a MIXER DRIVER for our facility in Seattle.
Position Summary

  • Before each delivery, the drivers back the trucks into a stall or drive up to a platform to rinse off the truck before leaving the yard.  A scraper is also used to dislodge mud from the barrel (where the concrete mud is held), and from the chutes (the trough by which the mud flows from the barrel to the location where the mud is to be deposited.
  • While driving, contact is kept with the dispatchers through radio and GPS..   There is a GPS system in the truck. Text messages can be sent back and forth between the dispatcher and driver.
  • To pour the concrete mud out of the truck barrel, a concrete chute (like a trough) is assembled to the necessary length. First, the section of the chute called a Flop Chute which is permanently mounted on the back of the truck is unhooked and moved into position.   Second, the steel cable which holds in place three sections of the steel chute on the side of the truck is taken off and one or all three of the chutes are removed, carried to the back of the truck and hooked to the existing flop chute. The Driver controls the speed and flow of the mud at the back of the truck using toggle switches.
  • About five times a week, bags of cement or a bucket (with handles) of cement additives (like sealer) or bags of lime and/or calcium are carried  to the truck and placed on a shelf about 3-4 feet off the ground.   Maybe once a week, the driver will carry a bag or bucket up a 90 degree angle ladder built into the side of the truck and dumped into the hopper.
  • When one delivery is concluded, the driver goes back to the yard, where he rinses off the truck and readies the vehicle for another delivery as indicated in #1.
  • Must have Class A or B along with 1-3 years of work experience.

Job Description:

CSRA is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to provide application testing. He/she will validate the system and data against the requirements and system design. The Test Engineer will review requirements and application designs, put together a test plan and test/use case, implement the test, and provide results and recommendations to the developer s team lead. This role is working alongside the development team supporting to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Office of Cyber Infrastructure and Computational Biology (OCICB) Cyber Technology Staff Augmentation Program (CTSAP). On this program, CSRA is supporting over 70 custom and COTS applications, both Web-based and client server applications. OCICB Software Engineering Branch (SEB) develops custom software applications for NIAID s user community consisting of approximately 4,500 intramural and extramural employees, contractors, and collaborators. Additionally, applications are increasingly being developed for access by the public, and so the scope and visibility of any developed application may be unlimited. Custom applications have been developed in the following functional areas: Scientific Reporting Services and System Support; Grants Management Systems; Contracts Managements Systems; Human Resources Management Systems; Administrative Management Systems; and Other Management Systems.

Position is for full time employment and will be based at our customers office in Rockville MD (metro accessible). This role will work Monday - Friday around normal business hours, with the opportunity to telework 1 day a week once established and with manager approval. This program offers a great balance of work and life; as well as a variety of interesting and challenging software development!

Responsibilities:

  • Review requirements and application design
  • Develop and modify test plans (manual and automated)
  • Employ system analysis techniques that translates system requirements into test cases / test scenarios that ensure all the assigned subset requirements are part of the system to be delivered
  • Convert high level test scenarios into automated test scripts
  • Create Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP)
  • Work independently to ensure full test coverage of the assigned application
  • Provide full scale testing of applications and data
  • Identify test coverage gaps in both black box and white box testing based on the existing scenarios, requirements and code
  • Perform section 508 testing, functional, integration, unit, system, and regression testing using corresponding frameworks, such as xUnit and JAWS
  • Interpret operational user requirements for inclusion in test studies and analysis
  • Analyze test results; report on testing progress and results; and document final test results

Required:

  • BS and 3+ years (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • 2+ years of software development using at least one of the following: C#, SQL, JavaScript, Java, C++

  • Experience in development of Powershell scripts

  • Experience converting high level test scenarios into automated test script

  • Successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to identify test coverage gaps in both black box and white box testing based on the existing scenarios, requirements and code

  • Knowledge of unit, system, integration and regression testing, and corresponding frameworks, such as xUnit

Desired:

  • Experience on Agile Teams is preferred

Position
Overview:

The paste mill operator is responsible for producing and packing paste and butter products to customer specification.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for performing pre-operational inspections, line set-up, operational adjustments, continuous process monitoring to ensure that quality and production standards are met, and recording material usage.
  • Performs general housekeeping and various sanitation functions.
  • Required to collect, measure, graph, and catalog variances, spillage, downtime, foreign material, and other production and product information. Draws samples from product flow and tests for specific quality attributes and records results.
  • Daily compliance to Blue Diamond Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), HACCP, and Safety practices and policies.
  • Required to offer guidance to supporting line personnel.
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate and adequate supplies of packaging materials and raw ingredients.
  • Performs minor maintenance tasks, including (PM’s) Preventative Maintenance Audits.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to work under limited supervision. Receives guidance from Managers/Supervisors and Department Leads but is expected to decide what actions to take when handling all but the most unusual task. Must regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment.
  • Must help maintain product quality while meeting output standards.
  • Must be able to interpret and accomplish tasks and directives described in complex technical, administrative, professional, and company guidelines.
  • Required to drive forklift and /or transporter.
