Under minimal guidance and supervision, perform required processing and testing steps to produce intermediates and paste finished goods. All work is to be completed, safely, accurately, on time, with high quality, and with efficient use of company resources.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES, AND EXPECTATIONS:
Follows all safety policies and ensures compliance of other associates in all work areas. This includes room and process policies for PPE and security.
Observe all safety and security regulations pertaining to personnel, chemicals, equipment, and building. On time for shift start, scheduled training, and meetings. Maintains high level of organization and cleanliness in all work areas.

Trained, proficient, and performing all of the process functions and operating all equipment pertaining to the manufacture of paste products. (Scales, mixers, 3-roll mills, etc.) Ensures timely, accurate, and complete recording all required transactional data. Actively participates in Quality System activities and participates in continuous improvement in Paste Manufacturing. Participate in plant wide improvement efforts and project assignments as requested.
Participates in scheduled physical counts of inventory. Must stand or walk on hard surface 5 – 6 hours per workday. Required to occasionally lift up to fifty pounds.
Safely operates material handling equipment. Required to move wheeled containers, pallets, and or drums using manual jacks, powered lifts, or assistance of other operators. Must have ability to perform repetitive arm and hand motions for 1-2 hours that are typically not continuous.
Excellent communication skills. Must be able to read, speak, write and understand English. Basic math skills.
Able to perform simple math formulas and percentage calculations. Basic computer use. Proficient in all required business software including systems used for inventory control (example:
SAP, Excel) and communications (example: Outlook, Word, Workday). Other temporary assignments, duties, or projects as required.

This position is responsible for mixing a variety of soy, rice, almond based liquid products through written batch records via Oracle and verbal instructions. Ensures the quality and efficiency standards are being met through reduced scrap loss and yield improvements. Follows all GMP and PPE requirements for the safety of others and oneself. Effectively communicates verbal and written information relevant to the plant.

Responsible for the load and delivery of ready mix concrete and other associated products to construction job sites in a safe and efficient manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepares truck for operation by inspecting general conditions; checking fluid levels and tire pressure; obtaining or scheduling required repairs; validating adherence to road-ability standards on accordance with DOT regulations.
Loads truck with ready mix concrete according to prescribed procedures, including charging hopper and checking slump.

Concrete Mixer Truck Driver
Operate a commercial motor vehicle with a capacity of at least 26,001 GVWR, to transport and deliver ready mix concrete. Will be required to operate different aspects of the vehicle's systems to alter, mix or unload as required. May require use of automated routing equipment. Requires commercial drivers' license, Class B minimum.
Must have a CDL, Class A or B
Be able to ingress and egress truck by navigating 2 steps with grab bars present.
Be able to manipulate truck steering wheel (power steering), shifter and other various levers and knobs necessary for operation of truck and associated equipment.
Operate ready-mix concrete truck to deliver to construction sites, as specified, in a safe and efficient manner, obeying applicable laws and following dispatch instructions.
Maintain communication with Dispatcher as necessary regarding deliveries. Check delivery tickets for special instructions and complete as required.
Frequently climb 8 foot ladder to ensure proper materials are loaded in a safe manner, and obtain proper signatures as required.
Rinse out drum and frequently handle 50 pound mixer chutes safely, and dump slurry as required by established procedures.
Collect money from customers and record transactions on customer receipt.

Respond to customer questions & complaints related to basic product knowledge and basic concrete instruction.
Monitor various gauges during operation of vehicle, investigate abnormalities and perform operator maintenance and minor field repairs.
