A typical day includes:
  • Completing a tractor and contrailer inspection and DOT reports or logs as required. We work SAFELY!
  • Communicating frequently with Dispatch to receive delivery or pickup instructions, and to relay delays, issues, etc.
  • Deliver and pickup containers and ground-level offices at various customer sites
  • Greeting our customer on site and completing delivery paperwork
  • Maintaining compliance of required safety equipment and gear for self, tractor and trailer
  • Positioning of units at delivery sites (Training provided!) 
We’re looking for professional, safe and career-minded Drivers with: 
  • A current valid CDL A license and 6 months CDL A verifiable driving experience with no at-fault accidents in the past 2 years
  • Current approved DOT physical or a valid exemption
  • Previous container hauling and/or towing experience desired
  • Some familiarity with FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations)
  • The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Basic reading and writing skills and the ability to enter work data into Acton Mobile systems with training
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment or as an individual contributor with minimal supervision
  • Ability to make good decisions as needed
  • A focus on customer service
  • A priority on SAFETY
  • Ability work a winch and other equipment related to the tractor and trailer
  • Ability to secure loads with straps and tie-downs

Analyzes engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations. Develops templates and other work aids to hold and align parts. Major Responsibilities


1.Works with the Strategic Commodity Manager and Operational Purchasing to support the assigned MPT commodity team. 2. Assists in the development and implementation of the commodity strategy in assigned commodities. 3.

Manages RFQ’s to the supply base according to the commodity strategy to support Operational Purchasing programs (current and new). 4.

Evaluates supplier cost structure to obtain best overall value on behalf of MPT. 5. Utilizes a total cost approach to optimizing piece prices for assign commodities, tactics to include but not limited to bundling, global sourcing, multiple sources/competition, specification changes, process optimization, value analysis/value engineering, logistics, and payment term improvement. 6.

Assists MPT divisions in establishing supplier Long Term Agreements and supplier giveback terms for all components assigned to him/her. 7.
