· Responsible to assist in new projects completion with closeout documentation, punch listing and preemptive testing.
· Responsible to manage trade accountability, defines warranty standards for homeowners and work with Construction Team on the delivery of completed homes.
· Responsible to review home warranty manual with home owners.
· Responsible to explain and sell products and services to new and existing homeowners.
· Responsible to coordinate the entry of quality walk/orientation walk lists into punch list manager and follows through with trade partners, builders and customer care department for full resolution within the prescribed time prior to closing.
· At-least 5 years of construction experience as a superintendent or project manager.
· Good knowledge of home construction.
· Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire sprinkler systems.
· Able to read and understand plans, structural and other engineering details.
· Proficiency in Timberline (Sage 300) and Estimating Software preferred.
· Proficient with MS Office.
Our client, a construction company located in Amenia, NY, is looking to add a Staff Accountant with experience in the construction industry to their team. As the Staff Accountant, you will be directly supporting the Accounting Manager. Job duties include:
- Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other documents
- Updating and maintaining accounting journals and ledgers
- Reconciling accounts with employees or external clients
- Maintaining confidential company and client information
In order to be successful as the Staff Accountant, you must have:
- At least 2-3 years of previous work-related accounting experience
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Experience with Microsoft Excel; Timberline experience is preferred
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Professional written and oral communication skills

Full time position to support the Director of Vertical Construction, Project Manager(s) and staff to achieve project and company goals.
Thorough experience and understanding of the Construction industry with an emphasis on high end residential construction;
Understanding of all construction trades and practices;
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate verbally, and in writing;
Understanding of construction software;
Perform Daily administrative duties to include: answering phones, e mails, filing, copying, errands, etc.;
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with trades and vendors;
Working with the Staff to develop and administer the site utilization program, services, security arrangements and other facilities and arrangements necessary for appropriate service to the construction effort;
Assist in ordering, accepting (receiving) & inspecting material deliveries for adherence to Purchase Orders; Keeping inventories of stored materials;
Receive and organize delivery tickets and scan in for accounting;
Assist Project Managers creating Purchase Orders, Subcontracts and Change orders through Timberline software;
Assist Vertical construction office with permit applications and filing of applications for building permits;
Assist Site Supervisors to maintain a clean and safe working construction at all times;
OSHA 10 Certification(s) (minimum);
Assist Supervisors, Project Managers and Field with computer or software generated daily job logs & reports, diaries, narratives and all other regular documentation;
Maintain fuel logs;
Orientation of new subcontractors and vendors on Stoneleaf Construction and Silo Ridge Field Club on site safety, protocol, company policies together with collecting identification, photo ID’s (licenses) OSHA 10 cards, preparing and supplying identification badges;
Tracking safety compliance such as trade safety manuals, safety data sheets, trade tool box talks with subcontractors, vendors and staff, safety inspections;
Adhere to company operations and safety manuals;
Will receive training as needed;
