Job Description RESEARCH SPECIALIST/MICROCT IMAGING SCIENTIST, Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research (KI), to join the Animal Imaging and Preclinical Testing Core Facility. Will be responsible for enhancing the facility’s capabilities in microCT imaging and analysis for a broad range of applications; and overseeing model development, user training and instrument use, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

The position will include collaborative teamwork in planning and executing preclinical efficacy studies in rodents (including some animal handling, injections, necropsies etc.) and involve extensive collaboration with faculty, postdoctoral, and graduate trainees for experimental design, training, execution of experiments, data analysis, and development of new methodologies. May collect and analyze data from other imaging modalities (MRI, ultrasound, PET, and optical imaging), perform biochemical assays, and train and oversee technical staff.
