Raise, place, and unite iron or steel girders, columns, and other structural members to form completed structures or structural frameworks. May erect metal storage tanks and assemble prefabricated metal buildings.
Pay is $23 to $24 per hour working 5-6/10's until the first of the year. Must have all tools in hand, pass a 7 year background check and willing to work in a Phosphate Mill. At least 5-10 years experience.
Must have a basic knowledge, experience and skillset within your assigned craft. Be able to maintain regular attendance and timeliness on a consistent basis. Conduct oneself in a professional and business-like manner at all times with fellow workers, clients and outside personnel.

Ironworkers with our client, place reinforcing steel in concrete forms for roadways, foundations, and structures. The majority of work done by ironworkers is performed outside.
Union ironworkers and employers sponsor a four year apprenticeship program. Training is conducted in the classroom and on the job site. Ironworker apprentices attend a four week, daytime training session each year of their apprenticeship. Classes are normally held during the winter months.
Apprentices start at 65% of journeyman wage. Each apprentice is evaluated every 6 months. If there are enough on-the-job training hours and the apprentice’s responsibilities are being met the pay rate is increased as the apprentice’s work skills improve.
Soon to be discharged active duty military personnel, Reservists and National Guard members (active or post-service) - any honorably discharged Veteran, are encouraged to apply.
To qualify for the training program, an applicant must be:

Must be agile enough to walk over voided spaces while stepping on steel intersections while tying and carrying steel.

Assists with procedures, including wound care and fracture reductions as advised by physician 3. Prepares and applies orthopedic appliances, including durable medical equipment such as pre-operative braces, crutches and other soft goods. 4. Conducts specialized measurements for custom brace fitting. 5.
Instructs patients in cast care and use of orthopedic appliances, including walking with casts, braces and crutches. 6. Prepares traction and rigs pulleys, ropes and frames to assemble fracture beds as requested by the physician. May assess patients in traction, detect deficiencies in the equipment and make adjustments as needed. 7.
