JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the TR7 and Evergreen filler machines used to package Silk Soy Milk. The successful Filler Operator will be competent in monitoring, maintain and cleaning the filler equipment and room as well as prove their ability to communicate with other key personnel within the operation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: + Operate and constantly monitor the filler machines to confirm efficiency and to identify and alert maintenance and management of mechanical and operational issues + Ensure the fillers are constantly stocked with cartons + Perform quality control by monitoring the temperature of the product, monitor and record the weight of cartons and by performing dye checks on cartons to confirm the integrity of the packaging + Maintain the filler area and all equipment in a clean and sanitary manner to include responsible CIP, the exterior cleaning of equipment, and manual cleaning of non-CIP equipment + Perform preventative maintenance by changing gaskets and filters + Log shift events such as downtime sheets, weight control sheets and the filler log + Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Job Summary: Under the direct supervision of Department Production Supervisor, this position is responsible for operating the filler and other related machinery as well as performing filler changeover functions. Directly responsible for ensuring no foreign product mixes with current product being packaged. Shift length is 10 hours. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: + Start up filler machine and have operational as quickly as possible.
Operate filler insuring correct count.
Continuously watch slats to remove wedged and broken products.
Examine the filler hopper so that no foreign objects are mixed in with products.
Continuously watch the slats for empty slots by adding the same product into the slot.
Replace and adjust manifolds, slats, and brushes.
Clean filler and prepare slats and manifolds to be taken to wash room.
Ensure bottles are aligned and under manifolds properly.
Check bottles from each setup for proper pill count.
During any downtime, sweep and clean around work station.
At end of shift cover filler up with plastic and remove all soft gels.
Cross trained to run all filler machines. Job Specifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum: + 3-6 months machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
