Receives, stores, and distributes material and products within the warehouse to the different vending routes. Hours for this position are 4pm to midnight -- Sunday through Thursday.

Duties and Responsibilities

Compares incoming stock received to invoices and checks their condition. Moves materials and items from one place to another

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Compares incoming stock received to invoices and checks their condition.
Moves materials and items from receiving areas to storage units or to other designated areas by using pallet jacks, four wheel freight carts and propane powered forklifts.
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, freezers or coolers according to predetermined specs such as size, type, style or product code. Prioritizes and expedites items that need to be stored in freezers or kept under refrigeration.
Fills requisition order sheets for vending items in proper vehicle per route driver's requisition.
Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
At end of shift locks warehouse and storerooms to insure all products and material assets in warehouse are secured overnight. May assist with computer data entry of inventory records.


Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Experience operating a forklift preferred.

Certificates, Licenses
Valid OSHA fork lift operator's permit desired though may receive this training while on the job.

Essential Functions

  • Offload/Packing: Remove tempered lites of glass from offload conveyor. Check customer label and place lite on designated rack or A-frame. Prepare complete racks/A-frames for shipment. Ensure all required paperwork is attached to rack/A-frame prior to staging for shrink wrapping and shipment.

  • All employees assigned to the above work stations may be required to rotate from station to station as needed.

  • All employees are required to wear the designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the workstation assigned, follow all plant safety rules, and are responsible for keeping the assigned workstation clean, orderly, and free of trash and debris.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to read a tape measure proficiently to 1/16th of an inch.
