K&S Manufacturingis a privately held, financially sound and growing company seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our team. This is a full-time position on 1st and 2nd shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities –
- Be able to read customer and internal drawings.
- Program, set up, and operate Bystronic or Accurpress Press Brakes.
- Inspect the parts produced by comparing the parts to blueprint using height stand, calipers, and other specialized measuring devices.
- Be able to run production efficiently as well as working with engineering on prototyping projects.
- Work within customer and internal tolerances and specifications.
- Complete and maintain accurate shop paperwork.
- Perform daily 6S duties.
- Minimum of 2 years prior Press Brake experience.
- Must have excellent problem solving skills.
- Ability to use height stand, caliper, micrometer, protractor, radius gauge, etc.
- Must have a solid working knowledge of blueprint reading and shop math.
- Possess a drive for achieving production, while focusing on safety and quality.
- Capable of working in a team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50-pounds.
- Must be reliable, and have good attendance.

Position Overview * Learn and gain full knowledge of press operation within a maximum time frame of 1 year.
Fully commit to Belmark operating procedures and produce a consistently high quality product within acceptable standard waste and time rates.
Take accurate notes for reference guide when operating press independently. Demonstrate learning by performing set up tasks, color and ink procedures within a 3 month time frame.
Learn to fully understand schedules and how to complete necessary paperwork.
Position Requirements * Requires education equivalent to two (2) years of high school.
Requires at least six (6) months experience setting up, operating and cleaning up a narrow web press.
Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
Math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.

Global Finishing Solutions is looking for Brake Press Operators to join our production team. This position will assist in the operation of a CNC Brake Press machine to fabricate parts. Job duties include: • Must hold an end of the part so that it is resting flat on the bottom die and tight against the back gauge • Position punches and dies accordingly to make appropriate holes • Keep work area clean and free for debris or misplaced parts/tools. • Label parts clearly and put appropriate stickers on necessary parts. • Move skids or racks that are completed to packing and return with empty skid or rack. • Check parts throughout production run, using measuring equipment to monitor quality and repeatability of process.
Compare flat part to layflat, check length, width, hole pattern, notches and material used. • Must verify 1st part of a run and every 5th part after that • Brake small parts that the operator sets the CNC Press Brake up for. Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED • Basic understanding of brake press operations • Accurately read and understand a tape measure, angle gauge, and caliper. • Operate forklift according to established safety standards. • Contribute to a continuous improvement environment. Moog Components Group has an opportunity for a Punch Press Operator A position - 1st shift at our Murphy, North Carolina location.
Here’s what you can expect in this role:
The operator would take roll strip steel & insert it in automatic punch press Bliss 20B and a progressive carbide die, using stock feeder, to stamp out laminations continually
Usage of an electric chopper that chops up the scrap strip while the lams are packed in a tube and shoved together
Employee inserts a rod and wire into the lams and stacks them on a rack
Employee watches machine for jam-ups, analyzes all stoppages, makes all adjustments, does all set-ups
Inspects and gages pieces
High School diploma or equivalent
Proficient in general math
Knowledge of machine shop gages (dial calipers, micrometers, length gages)
Experience operating large presses and small bench presses
Ability to occasionally lift 60-100 lbs. (with assistance)
Ability to wear ear plugs 6-8 hours per day due to noise level in area
Ability to work overtime
Good eyesight and dexterity
