Reporting to the Associate Dean of Students/Director of Academic and Learning Initiatives, the Academic Resource Center Coordinator will work to support a variety of academic support services for General Studies students, including but not limited to tutoring, coaching, the summer bridge programming, public speaking support, and peer advising.
The Coordinator will assist in managing ongoing support programming, and will work as part of the Academic and Learning Initiatives team to continue growing support programming for nontraditional students at Columbia. The role also oversees University Studies, which is a semester-long course that prepares new students for their transition to Columbia's academic environment, and Jumpstart, a workshop for first semester students.
Minimum Qualifications for Grade

Additionally, you will… + Work from the directions of the supervisor to move pole shafts into the seaming processor, set up and operate the sub-arc welder + Weld, grind, and repair each pole prior to presenting it to the Quality Inspectors.
This person will also repair all seaming defects as directed by the Quality Inspectors + Perform most of the work individually on a seamer. Essential tools and welding equipment will be provided, however, accountability and maintenance will be the employee’s responsibility + Work timely and expeditiously to deliver an on-time product without manufacturing errors + Perform other duties as directed by leaders and management
