Armored Service Technicians work as a team on a designated route.

The essential functions of this position are:
1. Operate armored trucks and/or vans in a safe manner, abiding by all federal, state, local and company regulations.
2. Deliver valuables to customers (banks, retail stores, restaurants, etc.). Interact with customers, representing the company in accordance with company standards, maintaining proper conduct, appearance (uniforms), personal hygiene, etc.
3. Complete paperwork accurately and in accordance and in accordance with procedures.
4. Maintain a security awareness at all times, whether driving a vehicle and watching for the hopper or outside of the vehicle delivering shipments to the customer.
5. Receive shipments and cargo at the beginning of the shift and check-in cargo and shipments at the end of the shift to the vault, ensuring the balancing of the receipts.
6. Perform necessary first line maintenance on the vehicle at the beginning and/or end of the shift.
7. May operate runs/routes dedicated to specific needs, i.e. Federal Reserve, BEP
(Bureau of Engraving and Printing).
8. Other duties as required.
The minimum Knowledge, Education, Experience, Skills, and/or Abilities required to perform this job are, including any physical requirements:
1. Must be at least 21 years of age, per Department of Transportation regulations.
2. Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain current license with a good driving record. Minimum 3 years driving experience. May be required to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
3. Ability to obtain a gun permit, where necessary. (A criminal conviction may prevent issuance of a gun permit.)
4. Experience in security field and/or transportation as a driver is preferred.
5. Must be able to qualify for any other work-related permits required by branch, such as Airport pass, Federal Reserve access, etc.
6. Must be able to read, write and understand English and perform basic math skills. Must have good communication skills and be able to communicate with customers and communicate with one’s partner or base location via radio and/or two-way radio.
7. Must be able to lift bagged coin three to five feet, weighing 30-50 pounds a bag, several dozen times daily and carry bags from the vehicle to a customer or back.
8. Must be able to step in and out of an armored truck 40-70 times per day.
9. Ideal candidate will have Military, Police, Delivery or Messenger experience.

Driver/Guards are responsible for providing secure and reliable transport of cash, securities, and other valuable cargo for financial institutions, businesses, and other customers. In doing so, driver/guards must practice heightened security protocol and safety procedures, provide outstanding customer service, and demonstrate competence ensuring accuracy in all delivery and receipt of cargo.
Essential Functions:
1. Safety in the operation of company vehicles, performing all duties inside and outside of vehicles, and in the carry and use of firearms.
a. Comply with all licensure and/or certification related to operating company vehicles and carry of firearms
b . Comply with state and company standards related to the carrying and use of firearms
c. Comply with federal and state safe driving standards and practices
d. Complete the Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) at the beginning and completion of each route
e. Practice proper lifting and moving techniques when engaged in lifting, moving, or pushing valuables or equipment
2. Accurately deliver and receive valuable cargo.
a. Demonstrate proficiency with the use of the handheld scanning device assuring that all valuables are scanned in and out
b. Transport valuables to and from customer locations in compliance with the route schedule complying with productivity standards at each location
c. Reconcile all valuables at the beginning and end of each route
3. Demonstrate security awareness when performing all tasks associated with the driver/guard position.
a . Assures that all packages picked up are signed for and inspected for holes, tears and proper sealing (package integrity)
b. Ensures that all valuables are secured in vehicle safes and cages
c. Employs use of all senses (see, hear, touch, smell) to assess threat conditions—reports all suspicious activity to base and/or law enforcement officials
d. Maintains vehicle security to limit liability exposure by following company policy and procedures to ensure that the truck is properly guarded and that doors remain closed except for proper use
e. Employs the use of all security equipment and devices to reduce vulnerability for robbery
4. Operate on routes, as assigned, including routes designated for special requirements; i.e., Federal Reserve Bank, Bureau of Engraving and Printing, ATM and Shuttles

We have a challenging opportunity for a Security Guard. Job Summary: The Security Guard monitors activity on the premises and protects the personnel, property and shipments for which the company is responsible.
This position functions in an armed environment. This position requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Brink's and its customers, as well as the safety of persons on the premises of Brink's and its customers. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain the safety, security, and control of the building at all times • Control access to the building; verify identification and entrance authorization • Monitor CCTV system for anything suspicious near the building • Handle general log in book for guests and clients arriving to corporate site • Greet customer clients, interviewees and c-level management traveling into corporate site • Alert management of anything suspicious and notify emergency services, if necessary • Maintain communication with supervisor in Risk at all times • Scan all guests driver license for name tags for building access • Complete daily reports • Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned Position Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an armed guard or military experience or protective services experience • Minimum of 21 years of age • A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirements • A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses • Able to lift at least 5 pounds Preferred Qualifications: • High School diploma or GED Professional Skills: • Excellent ethics and integrity • High attention to detail • Collaborative work style • Excellent customer service • Ability to work independently • Professional, positive demeanor If you have the background and integrity we require and are looking for a challenging opportunity, we hope you will consider employment with Brink’s U.S.
