Column Five is looking for an Jr Art Director who knows how to effectively conceptualize, design, and present ideas to our clients. Our Jr Art Directors refine and elevate the ideas of our designers, who tackle a wide range of project types from content marketing campaigns to motion graphics. Must have a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Screen Print art. Must be punctual, organized and a team player who ENJOYS working with good people. Must be loyal, trustworthy and fun and of course creative.

Primary Responsibilities/
Requirements:

Manage the art creation and customer approvals process

Determine screen mesh counts for highest quality print of designs

Schedule jobs in production - know best machines and print time for all jobs from start to finish

Create designs for wholesale customers and our own retail lines

Oversee 3-7 staff members in both art and screen print .

Manage the art team staff and complete all pending art jobs in a timely manner

Layout art/type and print separations.

Work closely w/ art team and able to give direction to art and production staff.

High attention to detail, organizational skills and quality control

Able to consistently meet deadlines in a high pace environment

Understanding of spot color screen printing, production, and apparel, types of inks and application processes to get various looks in screen printed apparel to appeal to all types of customer needs
