SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of the Artist Coordinator is to assist the Artist Services Manager in overseeing the logistics and services for performing artists and touring personnel in the ModlinArts series. Knowledge of The New York Times’ page make-up policies preferred.
Experience in a newspaper pre-press environment preferred.
Ability to work under deadline pressure.
Proficient with Macintosh and Personal computers.
Proficient with desktop applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe In-Design, and Adobe Creative Suite 5.
Proficient in typesetting (test required).
Must be able to work weekends and/or nights.
Good team skills.
Good communication skills.
