Asbestos and Lead Environmental Consultantto work at the VA facility in Los Angeles. These positions are full-time positions and is 100% at government facilities. Work would be performed under the direction of a Certified Industrial Hygienist. The

Environmental Consultantposition is responsible for conducting and overseeing asbestos and lead surveys, abatement oversight and air and waste sampling. The ideal candidate will possess a current DOSH certification as a Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) and DPH Lead Inspector / Assessor/ Project Monitor certification with 5+ years of environmental industry experience providing building-related consulting services. The core working hours are 9am to 2pm, but must work a full 8 hour day. Occasional projects may occur during evening hours, on Saturday and / or Sunday, but this is not routine.

Key Responsibilities * Provide asbestos building materials, lead-based paint and hazardous material surveys

The successful candidate should be able to achieve billable revenue target as set by the company and maintain client relationships with existing clients to grow customer base.
