Position Title: Operator III (Package Wrappers / Forklift) Primary Responsibilities: + Manage the plastic wrapping on line A or B processes of all products manufactured.
Apply encodes via ink jet system to all bundles per specifications.
Insure bundle label process is maintained per specifications.
Complete wrapper change over for all product changes.
Maintain daily housekeeping responsibilities such as sweeping, and shoveling.
Support pallet restacking and bundle rework.
Support jam removal throughout the package end.
Support laminator lane break lace ups.
Promptly report all known paper raw material issues.
Follow all Safety and Housekeeping procedures as outlined in company policies.
Promptly reporting of all known failures, malfunctions, or ware issues on equipment in primary work area.
Promptly report all known safety issues once observed.
Support all line lace ups from the FPL entry roll through #2 cutter.
Able to obtain a GAF forklift license.
Incident free Forklift operation as needed or requested.
Accurate reporting of daily required forklift safety check sheets.
Complete battery changing in all forklifts.
Keep line supplied / staged with correct pallets, plastic film rolls for product schedule.
Accurate disposal of all waste hoppers in correct dumpsters.
Must be able to operator sweeper.
Able to assist all Production line processes as request by Supervisor
Able to assist Maintenance as requested by Supervisor Other Requirements:
Must be able to work a 12 hour rotating shift.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
Must be able to perform work on elevated levels.
Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
Must be able to understand and perform in a satisfactory manner all rules and procedures as described to him in writing as well as verbal instructions.
Must be able to perform all housekeeping duties (sweeping, shoveling, machine blow down) in immediate work area as well as all other areas of the plant as requested by Supervisor.
Must be able to perform tasks in an indoor as well as an outdoor environment.
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Must be able to effectively communicate verbally face to face, over the phone, and in writing.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Must be able to work alone for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work in an industrial manufacturing environment around, and with the general product raw materials listed: crushed limestone granules, boiler slag granules and fines, limestone filler, fiber glass mat, and petroleum based products.

Duties may include all or a portion of, but not limited to, the following:
· Set-up and operate large punch press for heavy gauge material; adjust stroke of ram for various thicknesses of metal; operate machine to perform a variety of simple operations such as blanking, piercing, forming, straightening of parts. Progressive dies involved. Select prescribed tools, occasionally make simple replacements of dull dies or damaged parts, set stops for cutting tooling, make simple setups and adjustments.
· Perform a normal range of press brake operations on plate or heavy gauge materials. Determine operation sequence for multiple pass work or follow established sequence. Set and adjust machine stroke and material stops according to material thickness and form requirements.
· Set up and operate large shear to cut to size a variety of sheet metal stock of heavy weight materials. Set micrometer back gauges for accurate parallel shearing and set front gauges for any type of angle cut. Plan cuts to obtain most economical use of material. Replace shear blade when required or directed.
· Set up and operate hydraulic and/or mechanical power forming equipment to hot or cold form a wide variety of parts.
· Set up and operate computer numerically controlled turret punch press and/or plasma cutter attachment to pierce, notch, nibble, slot, part-off, and cut, plus similar operations. Check punch stroke manually for clearance and alignment. Shim punch and position and adjust auxiliary tables. Edit programs as required. Change dulled or damaged punches and perform other duties as assigned which may include maintaining proper gas pressure and cutting speeds, changing plasma, cutter tips.
· Set up and operate computer numerically controlled laser cutting system in concert with optimation software to efficiently cut and utilize sizes and gages of sheet steel. Download programmed and nested data by activating one system. Change laser cutting head and adjust focal length of laser beam as prescribed.
· Check finished pieces with various measuring instruments and appropriate gauges. Work from prints, process orders, specifications and verbal instructions. Responsible for inspection of parts, SPC, TPM, teamwork, accuracy, inventory control as required, total quality, employee involvement, cost reductions, and training new operators.
· Maintain necessary records. Move material as necessary in the performance of duties. Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to proper supervision. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations. Perform other duties as required or directed.
Shift/OT- 1st shift: 6:30am – 5:00pm - Mon - Thurs
Pay Rate- $15.45 per hour
Pre-Employment Testing- Background and drug screen performed through Orsus Group online system (drug testing at outside local facility near candidate)

Assist with product changes, sheet breaks and threading machine.
