Performs a variety of Airframe Structural Operations; such as locating parts, drilling various types of metals and composite materials, and installing various types of fasteners per drawing and process specifications. Requires knowledge of various types of cutting tools (drills/reamers/etc.) and drill speed/feed rates.

May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Requires adherence to shop floor policies and procedures, to include FOE and tool control.
High School diploma or equivalent (GED) and 4 years relative airframe experience. The position requires an active DoD Secret level security clearance.

The role of the Structural Component Assembler will be responsible for the complex assembly of metallic machined details for commercial and military airframe applications. The position will perform the assembly and help with oversight to other employees, training and technical support. The position will ensure that performance and quality of products conform to established company, international and governmental regulatory standards, agency guidelines, and customer requirements.
