Description: Position Summary: The Boat Rentals Cleaning Service Worker primarily works as a Boat Cleaner. Cleaning Service Workers are flexible, willing to help out wherever needed, comfortable working outside in extreme heat conditions and committed to achieving the highest cleanliness standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions:

  • Cleaning Service Workers must be able to work physically hard and able to deal with constant lifting and bending
  • Ensure a clean and pleasant atmosphere of the boat dock by removing trash and debris from the dock and cleaning all public areas
  • Must have an eye for detail and presentation ? to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness
  • Must be able to efficiently clean house and power boats to a high standard. This includes but is not limited to: ensuring all beds are made, all surfaces dusted, trash removed, carpets vacuumed, coolers and barbecue grills cleaned, linens changed, and that bathroom sinks, tubs and toilets are cleaned. Also must measure anchor lines and ensure all common items used are restocked and any damages or missing items are replaced
  • Ensure glass doors and insides of windows are clean and do not have smears on them
  • Remove cobwebs and clean all light fixtures
  • Ensure proper dilution and soap ratios to prevent wastage
  • Ensure linens used are in perfect condition ? do not use linens that are torn, worn or stained
  • May be required to deep clean boats ? using a ladder to clean walls and ceilings
  • Cleaning Service Workers may be required to attend the pump out station - pumping water out of the tanks
  • Cleaning Service Workers must fully utilize all safety equipment, ensuring proper lifting, bending and carrying techniques are adhered to
  • Understand all machinery and chemicals used
  • Be aware of MSDS sheets and books and read and use this information when necessary
  • Identify maintenance and safety issues and take the correct steps to correct them
  • Must be honest, dependable and forthright, with the ability to confidently work without direct supervision
  • Maintain a positive attitude ? always be willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed
  • Exceptional customer service skills are needed when encountering guests
  • Must be able to work with diverse populations in a supportive and positive manner
  • Must be flexible - willing to work a varied schedule
  • Know and comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, emergencies and energy

Status and Scope:
  • Cleaning Service Workers report to The Marina Manager
  • Cleaning Service Workers need to be comfortable working outdoors as they may encounter various animals
  • Cleaning Service Workers cannot be prone to motion sickness as they may spend hours at a time cleaning boats on the water
  • Cleaning Service Workers must be comfortable working long days in extreme heat
  • Cleaning Service Workers must be comfortable being on their feet all day
  • Previous cleaning experience preferred
  • Strong English communication skills are required
  • Must be over 18 years of age
  • If employee will operate a boat, they must have a valid US Driver's License and pass a Motor Vehicle Record history check

Provide Acquisition Systems Engineering support to the USCG Cutter Boats Project. Position is located at USCG HQ in Washington,DC. * *


Provide support to the Program Office in the development, identification, and analysis of documentation required for a USCG Non-Major Acquisition Project (NMAP):

        • Review existing documentation for updates or initiate missing documentation
      • Monitor upcoming acquisition milestones to ensure timely completion
      • Ensure all documentation remains current and updates are completed by NMAP guidance
      • Ensure design compliance with all specifications and required documents
      • Maintain documentation in the next-generation Project Reporting System (nPRS)


        • Bachelor's Degree
  • Certified Systems Engineer Professional (CSEP)

  • Prior USCG or Navy experience highly desired

        • 10 years Systems Engineering experience for marine systems of equal or greater size than a USCG Cutter small boat (20' and up)
        • USCG vessel engineering or acquisition project experience

Job Description


Responsible for carrying out the daily duties of a Boat Mechanic for Mastercraft Boats of Chicago including but not limited to: General Service and repair of inboard engines. Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems. Repairing and installing electronic equipment. Rigging and repairing boats, machinery, trailers, etc.


  • You should also be able to handle yourself with professionalism while communicating with clients.
  • Work with manager to coordinate daily tasks
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently complete tasks from start to finish
  • Perform all preventative maintenance (i.e. oil changes, break-in services, annual services, lower end services, cable replacements, etc.)
  • Inboard marine/boating experience preferred (Mastercraft preferred, but not required)
  • Complete repair work within the established time frame
  • Ability to comprehend and utilize technical service manuals
  • Diagnose and trouble shoot units and report extent of damage or malfunction to the manager/owner
  • Ability to drive a company vehicle and maintain a clean driving record with valid driver’s license
  • Clean workspace continually
  • Clock in/out of jobs correctly
  • Knowledge of electrical systems
  • Ability to diagnose efficiently
  • Ability to drive a boat
  • Ability to trailer a boat
  • Detailing experience is helpful

The Boat Technician is an essential employee to our boat dealership. He/She is responsible for ensuring proper operation of every boat on site. The technician will work preparing and fixing both new dealership boats for sale as well as 3rd party boats in for service.
