Job Description

Apollo Retail Specialists is a leading provider in hiring self-motivated, skilled employees to perform services for Box Retailers nationwide. Our company specializes in creating the right mix of personnel for every retail project. Apollo is looking for mechanically inclined individuals who are handy with tools to become assets to our growing company.
This a part time opportunity that often requires a full day of work. As the holiday season approaches, our techs could work up to 40 hours a week. Ideal candidates have availability Monday through Friday. Our employees primarily work weekdays between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM; however, occasional nights and weekends may be required. 


Compensation is paid by way of piece rate for all assembly work performed. We will guarantee a minimum of $15.00 per hour for your first two months of employment. Apollo also provides a paid training program to all new employees.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assembly of single speed and multi-speed bikes, RTA furniture, grills, exercise equipment and more in retail stores in your area
Requirements and
Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation, preferably have your own vehicle, as you will be commuting to different retailers and locations on a serviced route
• Must be able to successfully submit to a pre-employment background check. A drug screen may also be required depending on the position applied for.
• Must have your own tools (and a bike stand is required for bike assembly only). If you do not have the tools required to successfully and effectively complete bike assembly, Apollo offers a Tool Purchase Program to all of its employees
• Must be open to local travel as our assemblers and technicians are asked to service a territory within a 1 hour radius of their home
• Must have daily internet access for entering time and have ability to take and upload photos for project completion

Job Description

Position Summary

This is a junior level position as a technician in the testing labs as well as performing evaluation testing of bicycle tires on track or on trails. Duties will also include filling in as needed in other work areas of the facility as well as maintenance of the bicycle test track.


Responsibilities:

1.       Safely perform tests on tires

2.       Perform evaluations of new bicycle tire candidates to help guide development efforts

3.       Perform maintenance on the bicycle test track to ensure is stays consistent and in top condition

4.       Assembly, tune and maintain test bicycles

5.       Perform testing on Lab based testing equipment

6.       Mount and balance tire / wheel assemblies

7.       Mount tires on vehicles in support of various ride studies

8.       Perform general support work in the office as assigned by testing engineers, senior level technicians or management

9.       Perform data entry tasks as needed in support of tire testing requirements

Requirements:

1.       High School minimum, prefer Associate Degree or higher

2.       0~3 years’ experience in testing or technical environment

3.       Please list palmarès on resume

4.       Safety conscience

5.       Semi-pro or pro level experience in bicycle competition

6.       Demonstration of abilities on our test track is a basic requirement

7.       High Athletic fitness level is required in order to perform testing functions on bicycle

8.       MTB trail work experience would be a plus

9.       Proficient in using spreadsheets

10.     Able to work in US

11.     Minimal travel to Asia, Europe or in U.S. may be required

12.     Lifting of tires and / or tire wheel assemblies will be required as part of this job
