3. Ability to read and understand blue print andschematic drawings and interpret technical manuals.

4. Basic inventory management skills.

5. Previous forklift experience.

6. Forklift license for required all specifiedequipment (must be obtained after employment).

Summary: The Pipe Project Manager is a key position for managing LPR’s Pipe Division and will be responsible for developing a standardized execution plan for all pipe projects. This will include direct involvement in the preparation of project budgets, schedules, safety plans, quality control plans, staffing plans, and subcontractor selections. The Pipe Project Manager will also work closely with Sales and Estimating to help procure work, build LPR’s client list, develop proposal plans, and ensure accurate estimating. They will be responsible for all Design, Procurement, Construction and Financial aspects of the project(s) and will ensure that all work is performed in conformance with LPR Construction procedures and practices.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Promote and maintain liaison with client.

  • Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.

  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Lead and manage the project team in effective delivery of the project objectives.
