The Packaging Production worker is responsible for final packaging of all Dunlop produced products (guitar accessories), at the final stage before product is sent to Finished Goods for shipment to customers.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met.
  • Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders, using hand tools.
  • Run various packaging equipment – Blister Packer, Skin Packer, Sealer and Shrink Tunnel.
  • General packaging of finished products in boxes, bags, containers along with labeling and sealing.
  • Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools.
  • Must work safely and follow all safety guidelines.
  • Occasionally move boxes from place to place.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in general packaging.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Electrical Assembler performs a wide variety of electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical production assembly and subassembly operations of a skilled nature to build and assemble complex units such as: power supplies, printed circuit boards, modules, chassis drawers, cable harnesses, and electronic and mechanical systems and assemblies.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble Microwave RF systems and circuits

  • Assembly operations may include wiring, component installations, and hand soldering

  • Disassembles, modifies, reworks, refurbishes, reassembles, tests units and corrects malfunctions as required

  • Performs drilling, reaming, burnishing, and tapping on parts typically ¼" or 6mm and smaller

  • Reads and interprets engineering drawings and reworks parts to incorporate engineering changes

Qualification

Here's what you can expect in this role:

  • Numerous amounts of hand soldering per specifications on a variety of electrical components to meet drawing requirements

  • Installation of o-rings, back-ups and/or seal on sub-assemblies in order to meet planning/drawing requirements

  • Daily usage of basic hand tools (i.e., sockets, screwdrivers, torque tools, wrenches, etc.)

  • Laying, lacing, cutting, and striping wires in order to prepare them for next assembly processes

  • Installation of a variety of electrical components onto printed circuit boards by hand using established procedures, component location equipment, etc. in order for preparation for further production processes

  • Applying appropriate markings to all parts to satisfy print and customer requirements with the use of inks, stencils, and silkscreen techniques

  • Preparing components by bending, trimming and tinning leads using hand tools, lead forming equipment, soldering pots, etc. in preparation for further production processes.

  • Diagnosing test rejections and performing failure analyses on rejected assemblies, while also doing rework to correct deficiencies and meet quality requirements.

  • Perform fluidizing process and encapsulation procedures in order to satisfy drawing and/or customer requirements.

  • Assisting the supervisor in diagnostic/problem solving and training/leading other lower level employees

  • Perform various other duties as assigned

  • A High School degree or equivalent GED is required.

  • 5 years of experience assembling various complex electrical/mechanical components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies or a related field is preferred
