Primary duties include:

  • Assembling machines for the production floor
  • Working with engineers to ensure machine is built correctly and produces parts to specifications


Requirements:

  • Work independently as well as in a team atmosphere with minimal supervision
  • Ability to read various measuring devices and perform accurate inspections
  • Must be able to read blue prints
  • Should have good organizational skills
  • Should possess problem solving skills
  • Should possess problem solving skills
  • Be able to lift, push, or lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Work overtime when necessary
  • Willing to learn

Job Summary

Fit and assemble components according to prints or sketches to construct, rebuild and repair special machines and equipment.

Responsibilities

High School or equivalent, Read and analyze assembly and electrical prints/bills of material and order acknowledgement documentation to plan machine building operations.
Fit and assemble components according to specifications using proper tools and verifying conformance of parts.
Assemble, set-up and may operate machine to verify functioning, machine capabilities, product conformance and document with quality checklist.
May form and fasten pneumatics, fixtures, and attachments required to service machine with air.
Soldering of harnesses.
Set up and testing of circuit boards for aftermarket sales standard builds and regulatory conformity
May install wiring, electrical components and panel building to specifications.
May debug assemblies and machines by identifying and correcting problems affecting proper operation.
Identify and communicate with project team regarding build issues and documentation.
May design, fabricate and modify parts as required.
May lay-out hole locations and drill/tap holes on parts for assembly.
Prepare equipment for customer shipment.
Clean, maintain and organize work area and all equipment.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
