This full spectrum leadership position will be leading a team of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) and Special Test Equipment (STE) design and test engineers within the Electrical Test Systems Assembly Test and Launch Operations (ATLO) organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for the successful planning and execution of EGSE/STE console design, test bed design, fabrication, and certification which includes planning of detailed schedules, leading design reviews, managing WBS budgets, development of Acceptance Test Procedures in support of console checkouts and hardware system test, short and long term resource planning, and regular communication of ATLO EGSE status , supporting Program Management Reviews (PMR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), Critical Integration Reviews (CIR), and Test Readiness Reviews (TRR). Description: Position Summary: Under the supervision of the station manager, duty manager, or lead mechanic, GSE Mechanics are responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on ground support equipment and stationary equipment such as tugs, vehicles, loading bridges, stationary air conditioning units, baggage conveyor systems, ground power units, water cabinets and other equipment in a safe, accurate and timely manner. Services equipment with fuel, oil, water, coolant, hydraulic fluid, refrigerant, and compressed air + Disassembles and assembles malfunctioning GSE accessories and components + Removes, disassembles repairs, cleans, treats for corrosion, assembles, and reinstalls GSE components and accessories + Stencils and marks GSE in accordance with technical publications + Stores, handles, labels, uses, and disposes of hazardous materials and waste in accordance with all state, local, and federal environmental standards and regulations + Operates, cleans, inspects, and services GSE towing vehicles + Maintains vehicle records + Maintains and updates paper and electronic equipment records + Provides dispatch service for GSE, including positioning equipment to support aircraft maintenance and flying operations + Practices good housekeeping, tool control, Foreign Object Damage prevention and safety at all times.
