Interns will typically work 32 hours per week and have the opportunity to receive hands-on work experience and participate on special projects. Interns will also attend presentations by Pelican leadership as well as participate in special networking and social activities.
The Manufacturing Engineering Intern position will develop work instructions and perform time studies on various assembly lines in support of Case Production and Assembly. This is a great opportunity to receive hands-on experience in a number of areas pertaining to manufacturing engineering as well as exposure to real-world manufacturing environments.
To qualify for this internship, you should have very good analytical, verbal and written communication skills and be organized, methodical and detail oriented. Mechanical or Industrial Engineering majors are preferred, but any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) related major will be considered.
