Job Description: To setup, assemble and test electromechanical, solid state and microprocessor-based protective relays, FT switches, and other electronic assemblies. This involves assembly of sub-assemblies and finished parts with small components consisting of such items as capacitors, micro-chips, resistors, transformers, indicators, wires and switches, and printed circuit boards in accordance with product specification sheets, drawings and methods, schedules, and customer needs.
Applicants must be able to read, write, and understand English. All methods are written in English and all training is provided in English.
Able to do repetitive work.
Able to lift 40 lbs.
Stand or sit for periods of time
To setup, assemble and test electromechanical, solid state and microprocessor-based protective relays, FT switches, and other electronic assemblies. This involves assembly of sub-assemblies and finished parts with small components consisting of such items as capacitors, micro-chips, resistors, transformers, indicators, wires and switches, and printed circuit boards in accordance with product specification sheets, drawings and methods, schedules, and customer needs.
Bench fixtures, hand tools, riveting machines, air/electric drivers, gauges, ohmmeter, and automatic test equipment, winding machines, mandrels, and soldering iron.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Receive and complete work assignment under the guidance from supervisor or his/her designee.
Follow methods and drawing information required to assemble relays/switches/electronic assemblies.
Follow procedures in ordering and receiving material.
Support quality manufacturing goals, productivity and on-time shipment goals.
Report material defects and shortage to supervisor or operational specialist.
Perform assembly and/or test duties as required.
Maintain tools, equipment and working area in a clean and orderly condition.
Perform duties in accordance with the Coral Springs Quality, Safety and Environmental Management Systems, and required PPE
Ability to be trained to solder.
Must be able to read, speak and write English.
Able to follow methods and drawings.
General knowledge of manufacturing and electronic components.
Limited to no experience.

Candidate will participate in all aspects of the production assembly of high performance camera robotic products. Responsible for fitting and assembling electromechanical equipment and machines; including housings, motors, gears, actuators, PCBS, and cabling. Primary Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, part lists and drawings.
Inspect parts prior to assembly for flaws and imperfections.
Use calipers and micrometers to measure parts and determine if in tolerances.
Solder electrical components
Fasten cables and wiring.
Ability to torque fasteners to correct specs
Use if Loctite products.
Position and fasten units to assemblies and subassemblies
Grease or lubricate parts as instructed
Identify assembly problems, notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
Tag or mark identifying information on parts.
