DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under close supervision, performs a wide variety of routine simple tasks in support of assembly, other process operations, or production testing in support of the Tier 1 Production Team. Follows well-established guidance from specified process instructions and verbalized instructions from other team members. Utilizes hand and power tools, builds sub-assemblies, mounts components and parts to assemblies in a fast-paced production environment. Problem solves individually or as part of a group as job duties require. May be responsible for some training as necessary once trained/qualified. Will be required to rotate throughout the assembly lines or into other positions within the team to meet production requirements.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Must possess good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment rotating through all stations.

Assembles and tests mechanical assemblies of low complexity. Continues to train on more advanced / complex assemblies.
Assembles and tests assemblies according to FMC specifications. Applies and develops basic skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment.
Completes required test documentation including test reports, failed test reports and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
Cleans up components after assembly according to FMC specifications and verbal or written instructions.
Inputs labor details in time tracking system, charges time to projects.
Participates in Lean events with active involvement in CISP initiatives.
Uses material handling equipment to move parts and components from one work or storage area to another as required.
Performs all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in work area. Practices good housekeeping in work area.

This position requires mechanical and electrical assembly skills used for the assembly of power distribution and conditioning equipment. This position requires that the Assembler be flexible and able to alternate between jobs as workload dictates. Once trained the Assembler may work alone or in a team and is responsible for achieving allocated times for the tasks they are performing with good quality. In order to maintain this position upon hire all candidates must successfully complete the required basic training program for assembly employees in first 20 days, followed by successfully completing production floor hands-on training of approximately 60 additional days.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assembly and/or wiring of electrical cabinets, including building of production sub-assemblies, using detailed work instructions and standard and specialized hand tools
Read, understand and work to product documentation (blue prints, detailed drawings, procedures, etc.)
Correctly generate detailed assembly records documenting actions taken
Interface with quality representatives, manufacturing engineers, and/or customer representatives to ensure the highest possible quality on product manufactured in the time allotted and/or required
With guidance and oversight (from higher level Assembler) assemble, wire, and/or case pre-production products
Visually inspect work previously performed by others
Perform necessary changes, modifications, and/or repairs as directed
Maintain good housekeeping and safe work environment
Access and use of electronic data mechanisms such as digital paper and electronic mail
Train and/or assist other employees as required
Perform other duties and assist in projects, as directed by supervision

Responsible for the assembly of key components for final assembly, final assembly of equipment products, and hydraulic modifications. Most assemblies are built repetitively on a line system in a fast-paced environment. Use common hand and air tools, to build, modify and package all products.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under close supervision, acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
Perform various manufacturing tasks which include product assembly, equipment operation, material movement, equipment setup and adjustment, and minor preventive maintenance.
Follow basic work procedures and instructions using various tools to accurately assemble, install and inspect all company products and subassemblies.
Ability to work off of drawings, schematics, diagrams, procedures, and the Bill of Material (BOM).
Responsible for obtaining and maintaining the proper revisions on all drawings, procedures, and BOMs used on a daily basis.
Verify calibration due dates prior to use and notify supervisor of out-of-date calibrations.
Adequately label all parts, bins, shelves, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies in accordance with the proper procedures.
Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be used at all times.
Work areas must be kept clean and organized at all times.
Access any job given and address any concerns or training issues before the job is started.
Perform any combination of following tasks involved in cutting, stripping, crimping and pull testing of wires.
Filling out Material Transfers (MT) properly.
Understand how to properly reject parts using Material Traveler Tags (MTT).
Support department production goals.

Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.
