Job Description/Duties:

The Process Engineer will be responsible for technical support of manufacturing metal assemblies and process improvements. Interpretation of technical specifications, use of computerized systems, preparation of documents, support and analysis of manufacturing problems, and interfacing with others, both internally and with our customer, are critical duties of this role.

Bonding Technician

Job Summary
Williamson Employment Services is looking for Bonding Technicians for the South Bend, IN area.

  • Schedule: 1st shift: 6am-2:30pm, some mandatory weekends
    Hours may vary, over-time as needed

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Bonding steel plates together

  • Applying and spreading out adhesives using a trowel

  • Insure that proper bonded parts meet thickness requirements

  • Operating fixtures to bond the components together

  • Using air chisels and grinders to remove excess adhesive from bonded parts

  • Miscellaneous general labor as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education - high school diploma or GED is preferred

  • Abilities - working in a fast paced industrial environment

  • Experience - Factory experience required, previous use of air chisels and hand tools required

Physical requirements
The factory is a fast paced environment. Employees are required to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects when needed and perform repetitive tasks.
