Position Description: Provide overall leadership and management for all Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) activities. Take ownership of and responsibility for producing PEMB Plan targets, while setting the image, demonstrating the core values and implementing the Company's standards of business conduct.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities*:
Lead and manage PEMB activities
Develop a PEMB Business Plan and strategy based upon consideration of the market, organizational capabilities and competition. Create contingency plans for the unexpected.
Using the PEMB Business Plan as a guideline, develop and implement the Annual PEMB Profit Plan. Establish a system to reevaluate the Plan as necessary in order to achieve stated goals.
Ensure strict adherence to safety, ethics and compliance requirements throughout the division.
Develop sales strategies and generate new sales along with participation in pursuits, meetings, presentations, etc.
Respond to PEMB proposals.
Establish meaningful and long-term relationships with present and potential future clients in the division.
Establish communication protocols to ensure that information is shared throughout the Business Unit.
Provide risk evaluation, contract negotiations, subcontract negotiations, fee and pricing decisions.
Establish and maintain procedures to protect the financial assets of the PEMB Group. This includes overview and approval of all financial reports, compliance with Company policy and timely reporting of known risks.
Identify and secure additional opportunities to enhance turner's position by including all Turner initiatives in the business deal when appropriate.
With assistance and involvement by business unit senior staff, become a good corporate citizen in the community and maximize Turner-controlled resources to benefit business goals and objectives.
Ensure strict adherence to safety, ethics and compliance requirements at all times.
Provide preconstruction and budget development.
Oversee master project schedule.
Ensure payments are received on time.
Prepares complete analysis, estimate, and studies for all items incorporated in the PEMB assigned scope.
Performs a constructability analysis through the identification of design and constructability issues.
Develops a value analysis by defining alternatives to the proposed scope that are more cost-efficient.
Serves as liaison with subcontractors, design team (architects, engineers, consultants) and client.
Prepares a detailed estimate of entire scope of the PEMB trades and/or overall project cost.
Prepares and assembles PEMB bids and proposals for different contract types (Lump Sum, Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), Cost Plus, etc.)
Analyzes existing site conditions and all contract documents (plans specifications, etc.) to determine any required scope that is not indicated.
Prepares scope requisitions for assigned trades; coordinating with fellow estimators to eliminate scope gaps and overlaps.
Works with Operations staff and fellow estimators to ensure that General Conditions and General Requirement items are properly addressed in the estimate.
Obtains and evaluates subcontractor proposals relative to their scope of work. Determining if scope is covered and managing risk of scope gaps.
Make recommendations for contemplated expenditures.
Manages submittals and shop drawings. Assesses conformance to contract specifications. Resolves any conflicts in interpretation.
Negotiates Change Orders. Manages information on changes in the Work; prepares an independent analysis, as required; obtains and checks estimates for the changes from subcontractor; obtains approval of the Architect and Owner; and resolves any conflicts.
Oversees the close-out process. Prepares final records for the project such as Requests for Information (RFI's), close-out records, warranties, as-builts, Operations and Maintenance manuals (O&Ms), attic stock, and spare parts, and evaluating information to insure compliance with contract documents.
Develops reports such as General Conditions Items, labor, safety, Change Order logs and Quality Control.
Schedules and manages subcontractor trade coordination meetings, preconstruction meetings and submittal review meetings
Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of ten years of building construction experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. Thorough understanding of the commercial construction industry and the markets in which the division participates including in-depth knowledge of the owners, developers, and architects within the respective markets. Demonstrated management leadership, the ability to establish a course or plan, proven interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate well – both verbally and in writing – to a broad range of contacts in the construction industry.
Physical Demands: Performance of the duties will occasionally require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Perform a series of basic operations using a variety of hand tools, power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to properly assemble sheet metal aircraft components. Inspect completed work for conformance to Production Planning, verbal and written instructions, sketches and specifications.

- Work a full range of aircraft sheet metal duties including, but not limited to, disassemble, modify, repair and reassemble complex aircraft metal items & systems, including bulkheads, airframes, spars, air scoops, flaps, wings, pylons, sponsons, fuselages, skins, ribs, gussets and internal and external fuel tanks.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Die Setters should be able to perform assigned setups of presses to ensure part is produced to specifications. Must possess advanced knowledge of powder compaction motions and demonstrate knowledge of fill, powder transfer, compaction and ejection. Must be capable of setup, advanced programming and troubleshooting of compaction presses. Must possess knowledge of auxiliary equipment with the ability to modify programs as needed to meet production requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up tooling of varying degrees of complexity
Strive for a high level of quality performance in all job duties. Understand and work to the quality system. Meet all quality and process requirements for setups and production start ups
Follow process and prints to setup and adjust powder metal compaction equipment, resulting in product meeting desired specifications as outlined by internal documentation.
Set up and run complex first piece inspection tooling
Use documented setup instructions for each setup. Utilize, update, and maintain all necessary documentation, including but not limited to process changes, audit checklists, and tooling requirements.
Accurately follow procedures to properly drain, disposition, and label the powder.
Run and evaluate new equipment and processes
Train other die setters
Work and collaborate with engineering, tool room, and manufacturing associates to solve problems. Work to the direction of the shift's lead technician/supervisor.
Communicate work status to next shift's die setter
Maintain a clean and orderly work area according to 5S principles
Exercise necessary precautions to ensure personal safety and the safety of others
Work overtime as required/needed

CNC Machinist- Metal Fabrication
Program, set-up, operate and adjust programs on CNC machines to produce precision metal parts and components utilizing appropriate shop equipment in a timely and efficient manner with minimal supervision. Use hand tools; may work on manual machines from time to time as required.
Check work orders, prints and/or drawings.
Meet with engineering and Tool Room Manager to review machining requirements.
Determine best method to complete work including feeds, speeds, cutters, etc. according to industry standards.
Determine manufacturing process, type of tool, inserts, etc. needed to complete work order. Make recommendations and develop list of components needed for purchasing required.
Program, edit and rewrite CNC programs at machines; perform off-line programming as required using Mastercam or SolutionWare CNC programming software.
Select, check, sharpen, and/or replace tools as required.
Manufacture or select appropriate work holdings and fixtures.
Perform mechanical tasks including loading and unloading vices, fixtures and parts. Count, mark, and pack parts.
Establish and set appropriate tool offsets.
Manufacture parts from raw materials to completion per blue prints, work orders and customer specifications.
Measure first piece and in-process parts to conform to blue print, work orders, customer requirements and tolerances.
Trim or de-burr parts or otherwise finish parts to customer specification.
Identify, use and interpret appropriate calibrated metrology device for piece-part inspection.
Continuously review work orders with supervisor to organize and optimize daily work.
Communicate instruction/oversee work performed by lower level operator.
Return all equipment, parts, etc. to proper storage area and maintain organized work area.
Timely and accurate completion of all paperwork associated with position.
Participate in activities to increase personal skill level, overall department processes and product quality.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Requires four plus years of trade school, vocational education, related work experience or apprenticeship in manufacturing environment.
Requires ability to program (write, edit, and use) MAZAK brand machine: vertical machine centers and/or Mazak brand CNC Lathes/mill turn lathes with Nexus controls. Must be proficient in Mazatrol programming language.
Requires proficiency to program G and M codes as needed and offline software such as Mastercam or similar software.
OSHA required training in Lock-out/Tag-out, Hazard Communication, PPE and Emergency Evacuation.
Ability to use a variety of Lathes, drill presses, and equipment including finishing equipment, air hose, hoists, wrenches, tool-holders, vices, forklift, and other types of lifting equipment, etc.
Ability to read and understand Blue Prints, Piece Prints, GDT, SPC.
Advanced Math skills including calculation of feeds, speeds and distances, print conversion and geometry.
Understand and use a variety of measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc.)
Write, edit and use CNC computer programs and control panels.
Distinguish a variety of raw materials (stainless steel, cold rolled steel)
Understand machining, cutting, stamping and forming properties of various raw materials (303SSTv. 304SST)

Production Associate Entry In Metal Shop
On floor, bench or conveyor lines, performs diversified and intricate assembly and manufacturing operations on a variety of products. Lays out and determines operations sequence. Assists and works with different automatic and semiautomatic machinery in the factory as well as performing manual tasks.
Checks product for quality and completeness.
Places parts in specified relationship to each other.
Performs various tasks and processes in manufacturing environment.
Helps in performing set-ups by checking materials and getting necessary tools and jigs to manufacture products.
Inspects the finished product for good quality and for the correct color, measurements, label and material used.

Regional Instructor – HVAC/Sheet Metal
This position is responsible for providing instruction to Katerra's Learning and Development programs for Mechanical classes using multiple formats that including classroom, lab, correspondence, and online. The instructor must meet the NCCER's requirements of a minimum journey or technician level in their area of expertise or a minimum of three years' experience as a certified teacher in a vocational/technical construction or maintenance-related training program.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Work with Site Leads to develop local and Web training calendars
Work with Site Leads to complete written exams and performance profiles for Web training
Prepare lesson plans for each class based on NCCER standards and Site Lead input
Prepares and collects all class records required, including grades and attendance
Attends instructor and advisory meetings as requested
Must be available to teach weekends and/or evenings and travel to give site specific training, as required
Develops an understanding of and maintains a commitment to the mission and vision of Katerra
