Material Support II- Frames - 2Nd Shift
POSITION HIRING FOR: LEVEL 2 MATERIAL SUPPORT: Material Handler/Fork Truck Driver
In this position, you will primarily perform a variety of material handling functions to stage, load and remove materials no longer needed at the production station or to set up for future production primarily using a lift truck.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow a written or verbal production schedule to evaluate and then meet departmental material and part level needs for production flow.
Unloading of raw materials upon arrival to facility including placing in temporary storage or taking directly to the line. Reloading trucks to be returned to supplier.
Potentially operate a tugger or similar material handling equipment.
Follows pre-established routes to deliver/retrieve parts from the line side store locations using a high degree of safety according to safety rules and regulations.
Leads in determining right—sized quantities for Supermarket while incorporating a visual reorder system.
Update schedule boards and other communication tools

Deal with 3rd party manufacturers to take product ideas from concept ideation, through design, into process qualification, product commercialization and then product support. - Use a variety of hand tools including tweezers, magnets, mallets, vibrator, magazines, carbon molds, stands, glass beads, and tape machine. Use finger cots to prevent contamination of parts.
- Place molds in trays or on cardboard after completion of operation and tape.
- Orientation of heads may be by automation or hand prep for assembly to pins or eyelets.
- Work from flowsheet folder, blueprint specifications, process sheets, written and/or verbal instructions.
- Operate lead-cutting machine to trim lead frames to proper size as specified by customer.
- Use magnifier and related equipment and materials.
- Perform additional assembly work as directed.
- Move materials as necessary in performance of duties. May also be moved by others.
- Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to group leader or supervisor.
- Maintain established quality standards and follow quality procedures.

Our client near Saugerties is looking for an Assembler for their molding department. You will be pulling the product off the mold and working on assembly after that.
Molding machines are located at shoulder height so candidate must have good upper body strength as the molds are heavy. Soldering experience is a big plus, but it is not a requirement.
