Summary of Position The operator is responsible for quality setup and operation of digital printing and other equipment within our Miamisburg, Ohio location. Operators must be able to work second shift, troubleshoot equipment and make proper adjustments to meet quality production standards. Operators must be flexible as we often work weekends and holidays.

Scorecard * Completes assigned machine(s) schedule

  • Allows Zero externally detected errors

  • Experience with Laser Printers or Inkjet equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities * Meet deadlines and quality expectations to achieve production goals set by Scheduler/Supervisor.

  • Operate all digital print equipment

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems and escalate if needed

  • Ensure the quality production of jobs with a minimum of waste and abuse to equipment

  • Accurately track time to each job

  • Accurately use the quality control tools while processing/printing work

  • Maintain an organized, safe and clean work environment

  • Follow all personnel policies and department procedures

  • Attend weekly department meetings

  • Flexible schedule as extra hours are often necessary

  • Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned.

Print Production Specialist - Packaging

Job Description: Purpose: Facilitates the development of global label and gift cartons with Suppliers, Agencies, or Corporate Design. Participates in vendor selection and qualification. Reviews both artwork and vendor proofs for printed materials such as gift cartons, labels, stickers, shrinkbands, and hangtags for validation copy and print execution. Develops or modifies artwork for stickers. Submits files to CRT or TTB for legal approval. Serves as Product Innovation Project Manager. Responsibility: (Job Detail) + Legal Submissions – Prepares and confirms labels conform to CRT and/or TTB Federal guidelines. Submit labels to Legal Department for CRT and TTB filings.

  • Ensures printed materials, i.e., labels, shrinkbands, hangtags, stickers are accurate. Issues material specifications into ETQ for same printed materials.

  • Obtains vendor proof approvals by uploading and tracking vendor proofs in the Artwork Approval System. Facilitates and updates modifications on vendor proofs based on internal or market feedback.

  • Partners with Design and Packaging to determine appropriate print vendors for print jobs based on specification/technical requirements of jobs and printer’s capabilities.

  • Builds and maintains a strong partnership with vendors. Regularly communicates project efforts and status.

  • Keeps up-to-date on the latest printing advancements and technologies by attending training, conferences, seminars, and visiting suppliers. Communicates regularly with suppliers to obtain latest technologies and vendor capabilities.

The Associate Manager, Marketing Operations (Print Production) will be responsible for supporting the functions related to Creative Services, Visual, Store Operations, and marketing strategy, focusing on 3 key areas of Marketing Operations, including marketing supply chain management, expense management, and analytics. This position will assist Marketing and other key team members of the team with extensive project management taking the concept of a program to completion 28 times per year, through sourcing, supplier management, budgeting, allocation, kitting, logistics, inventory, fulfillment, and analytics all the way through invoicing.

This position will ensure that every step of marketing execution is clearly defined, communicated, and executive for a 1,100 store chain on-time, on budget, and brand appropriate.   • Defining and scheduling the development of equipment to meet production requirements for operations department.  These include assembly fixtures and tools, production flow-line systems, and test equipment.
  • Assuring and maintaining product integrity, and quality in production products.  The Associate Product engineer does this by collaborating with other Company resources to resolve production problems, assisting in Material Review Board (MRB) analyses, and assisting in evaluation for possible notice of escape (NOE) to customers.
  • Tracking key company metrics including, but not limited to, first pass yield (FPY), and product cost objectives (PCAS) to maintain and improve company performance and goals.  These metrics may be used to support the goals of other departments.
  • Developing a thorough understanding of all design principles associated with assigned products. Supporting the facilitation of design changes driven by the above items by redlining drawings, attending Change Review Board (CRB) and starting the EO process.
  • Training, coordinating and evaluating the efforts of Product Engineers, Associate Product Engineers and Co-ops to support department goals 
To be considered for this position:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Masters preferred) + 5 year relevant technical experience
  • Alternately, a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Engineering + 8 year relevant technical experience
