Established in 2008 Carolina Fun Machines sells and services a full line of motorcycles, dirt bikes, ATVs, go-karts, scooters, mini bikes and side by sides.

We are currently interviewing for a person to help with the assembly and testing of the products we sell before they are released to the customer.

This is a full time position.

Pay is based on experience and productivity and can range up to $28,000 per year.

1 weeks paid vacation after 1 year of employment.

Carolina Fun Machines was founded in July of 2008. They sell and service a full line of motorcycles, scooters, dirt bikes, mini bikes, go-karts, ATV's and side by sides.

Job Description

Looking to hire for 2nd and 3rd Shifts 

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive assignments and instructions from supervisor, both verbal and written, and obtain shop documents and prints needed.
  • Read and understand the schedule and work flow requirements.
  • Get materials from storage or queuing areas, and complete kits with hardware and parts as needed.
  • Be able to read, understand and follow guidelines set forth by E.I.’s, M.P.’s, O.I.C.’s and drawings when performing assigned work.
  • Do work and keep records in accordance with ISO 9000 registration requirements.
  • Assemble components in accordance with established standards.
  • Inspect assemblies, product, processes, and materials for conformance to design criteria, applicable specifications, and inspection procedures.
  • May work in Med Power, Large Power or EHV product lines.
  • To perform fabrication repairs and machine maintenance.
  • Weld components with appropriate techniques and repair if defective
  • Keep tools, equipment and work area clean and orderly.  Visually check equipment for normal operation. Verify lifts and cranes before use (crane cable & limit switches).
  • Perform minor equipment repairs and machine maintenance.
  • Use SFLC system accurately. Punch in and out. Make and end of shift review of the days’ time, and make the necessary corrections such as closing gaps, or changing NCRs & DMs to the correct indirect accounts.
  • Write maintenance work orders.
  • Have the ability to look up NC’s
  • Perform work in other departments as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and policies of the company
  • Train peers as required to support team production requirements.
  • Investigate potential and actual non-conformances, and recommend corrective action.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Portable scaffold and steps, ladders, radial and band saw, vacuum cleaner, hydraulic jacks, threading machine, hi-press crimpers, grinder, stud gun, hand drill, pneumatic wrenches, mallet, sledge, pry bars, blocks, wire stripper, hand crimper, overhead jib crane, chains, slings, vacuum pumps, forklift truck, air bearings.Various machine operations such as: shear, punch, lathe, grinder, radial drill and others.Submerged Arc (SAW), Stick Welding (SMAW), MIG Welding (GMAW), Oxyacetylene Torches, Plasma Cutting, Air Arc Gouging, Brazing, Stud Welding, and TIG (GTAW) equipment.

Materials used in this position include tank, cover, current transformers, tap changers, gear assemblies, oil gauges, pressure gauge, cabinets, housings, bushings, operating mechanisms, finished Transformers, flanges, lightning arrestors, wood, steel rod, nitrogen, and others.Breaker stands, breaker poles, breaker C.T.'s, galvanized steel beams, & SF6 gas.

S/he works under general supervision.Care is required to prevent damage to components or unit.Often works at heights up to 15' or more and occasionally work at heights up to 30’ or more.Work varies from working at the ground level to working in, on top of, and around the sides of the transformer unit. Operations require mental and visual concentration to ensure compliance with engineering and quality specifications.Position requires hand and eye coordination to make adequate welds meeting various welding specifications for in plant certification (if welding). S/he must have the ability to work in confined spaces. Must have the ability to access and work in confined spaces, which includes 18”-24” manhole accesses. Working conditions are generally good.

SBA Wireless is seeking a full-time electronics assembly worker to prepare, assemble, perform final test and prepare products for shipping.

The position responsibilities will require attention to details, use of miscellaneous hand tools, ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work with other team members. Lifting of 5-10 LBS (frequently) and up to 40 LBS (occasionally) may be required.

Previous assembly experience, familiarity with computer (PC) operation and electronics soldering tools are an advantage.

Position Summary The Assembler is contracted to assemble BBQ grills, wheelbarrows, and various products as requested in Home Depot stores.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assembly: Maintain client objectives by ensuring all authorized client items are assembled to specifications.

  • Sales: Increase sales volume through gaining incremental assembly work.

  • Administration/Reporting/Communication: Ensure store call information is accurate and provided daily for proper piece rate payment. Provide timely feedback and suggested solutions on Market issues to your direct report.

  • Call Coverage: Maintain store coverage as assigned by your direct report.

  • Safety: must have the ability to perform the job safely by demonstrating full awareness of his/her surroundings. Will utilize proper safety techniques and equipment use when necessary. Will be proactive in alerting Management of any unsafe act or condition to prevent injuries.

  • Customer Relations: Gain working knowledge of customer relations by working with customers and store personnel. Build rapport with customers. Promote Advantage Solutions Home Center/Hardware division, as the premiere agency in the industry. Must have the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally with all customers. Must be prepared to field questions and proactively develop plans of action in regards to resolving issues.

  • Store Conditions: Achieve client goals and objectives by effectively managing assembly quantities within your assigned stores and executing all responsibilities.
