The Garment Assembler prepares all clean garments for route delivery by identifying, inspecting, sorting, bundling and loading them according to route and customer. This position is sometimes referred to as Garment Tie Out or 10 Sort Feeder. Performs other tasks as required. Essential Functions:
Retrieve finished, clean garments from rail storage system or steam tunnel rail.
Inspect for quality and re-route garments for mending if needed.
Read garment labels, sort garments and place onto stationary sort rails according to route, customer and individual user. Follow written packing instructions.
Work at a rate to keep up with the flow of garments and delivery date requirements.
Transfer garments to final assembly rails or carts/bins for loading into delivery vehicles or to designated areas.
Identify and notify supervision of shortages or routing problems.
Hand fold or wrap other garments and load according to written packing instructions.
Continuously meet efficiency and safety standards for the position.
Follow instructions as directed by supervision.
Keep work area neat and clean.
Perform other tasks as required.

All Things By Faith (ATBF) is an e-commerce startup Christian clothing brand that is starting its own Direct-to-Garment (DTG) print and fulfillment operation in Irvine, CA.
ATBF designs, sells, prints on tees, totes, tanks and hoodies, and fulfills and ships orders. ATBF is seeking a part-time to possible full-time paid intern to learn the entire process from design, print, ship, and everything in between. There will be some flexibility in hours.
This internship will teach you all there is about direct-to-garment (DTG) printing.
ATBF is seeking an operator for our digital printing operation. The ideal intern is interested in learning about various digital printing strategies and experiencing the day-to-day operations of a full-service apparel printing business.
This position will provide the opportunity to learn the following key skills needed to thrive in this business, including:
- Digital printing and direct-to-garment (DTG) printing

We are willing to train the right candidate. Experience with customer service, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is plus, but not required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Direct and manage plant operations for production, maintenance, quality and shipping and receiving. 2. Coordinate plant activities through the planning with departmental managers to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner. 3.
Develop and control profits, plans, and budget. 4. Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries. 5. Manage capital asset maintenance. 6.
Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards. 7. Control and minimize labor overtime, premium freight and repair expenses. 8. Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary. 9.
Provide leadership and training to accomplish organization goals and objectives. 10. Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs. 11. Incorporate shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel. 12.
Provide direction, development and leadership to production line managers and production supervisors. 13. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or ten years of plant/general management garment experience.
Experience: 10 yeas experience with working knowledge of budgets and financials statements. Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required. Specific
Language skills English proficiency/ Spanish proficiency preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to compose routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: Good computer software knowledge (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, ect). Other Skills and Abilities:
Good oral and written communication skills required. Ability to use general office equipment (i.e. facsimile, photocopy, and/or related office peripherals). Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word Physical Demands: Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time.
