Perform precision micro-electrical assembly, bonding and cleaning operations of Microwave Integrated Circuits and assemblies in an ISO Class 10,000 clean room environment utilizing a high degree of accuracy and versatility. You must be able to work in an active production atmosphere and be willing to train using a variety of equipment. Candidates must have hands-on experience installing and bonding "chip & wire" components into small packages and also have the ability to read, understand, and work from assembly prints and verbal instructions. You must be able to work in a flexible team environment and have the ability to check your own work for conformance to workmanship standards and inspection criteria.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional or technical school attendance a plus.

  • 5+ years hands-on assembly experience installing and bonding "chip & wire" components in microwave packages.

  • Experience in attach using solder and epoxy.

  • Experience with ultrasonic bonding machine operations and setup.

  • Working knowledge of MIL-STD-883, MIL-PRF-88534 or other industry documents pertaining to "Hybrids" also a plus.

  • Ability to work with others and contribute consistently in an active production team environment.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible for this position.

JOB TITLE: Quality Inspector Assembly and Wiring

REPORTS TO: Quality Manager

JOB SUMMARY: Inspects mechanical parts and assemblies for conformance to drawings
and customer requirements. Perform inprocess and finish inspections
during the electronic and mechanical assemblies to industry standards, customer standards, and assembly documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  1.  Inspect electrical assembly wiring and soldering per customer standards and IPC 620 requirements.  
  2.   Perform inprocess inspections on assembly processes to confirm conformance to standard and

customer requirements.



  1.  Inspect mechanical parts and assemblies using tools such as but not limited to micrometers, calipers,  

and GO/NOGO Gauges.



  1.  Perform finish inspections to include documentation review and audits and familiarizes suppliers with

established processes, policies, procedures, and standards.



  1.  Perform kitting and finished goods inspection for correctness and compliance with packaging standards. 
  2.  Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments.  
  3.  Prepare and review documentation packets of quality record results for each assembly.  
  4.  Records and maintains inspection records of type and number of defects.  
  5.  Separates nonconforming parts and/or assemblies and marks type of defect.  

JOB KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  1.  Experience with wiring/solder and cable assembly inspections applying requirements of IPC 620. 
  2.  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.  
  3.  Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements  
  4.  Ability to keep accurate records  
  5.  Ability to follow documented procedures and standards  
  6.  Basic problem solving experience including the ability to deal with problems involving several variables using standardized methods.  
  7.  Good communication skills, both oral and written

STAR-CCM+ provides a number of different types of meshing algorithms that will generate high quality surface and volume meshes from initial discrete and CAD models. The meshing team also provides algorithms for surface preparation tools and develops workflows to go from initial import surface to volume mesh for simulation. A Meshing Development Intern will assist with testing of meshing related development features.

This may include manual testing, developing automated tests, test analysis. Depending on the background of the intern, they may also be asked to profile code to evaluate performance and do an initial analysis of bugs. The intern may also be asked to independently evaluate the usability of a feature or workflow.

Depending on experience, the intern may also be asked to complete a development task. Responsibilities The specific responsibilities associated with the position may include: • Manual testing of existing features and features in development by the meshing team. • Submission of bug reports from the above testing • Create test cases for the automated testing suites. • Suggest possible tests for the automated testing suites. • Evaluate and provide feedbackon the usability of certain features and workflows. • Develop/modify scripts for collection and analysis of test results • Profiling of certain features to find performance bottlenecks • Initial analysis of incoming bug reports • Based on experience, results of the above tasks and the length of the internship, the intern may also be given additional tasks in support of meshing development Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience. Responsibilities:

  • The Power and Signal Distribution (PASD) Release Engineer will be responsible for the design and release of wiring harness assemblies and related components.

  • The PASD Release Engineer will also coordinate drawing creation CAD release in Teamcenter and validation of released components in the vehicle and component environments.

  • Support manufacturing facilities for entire life cycle and manage a supplier engineering support team.
