Verifies dimensions of parts using both mechanical and electronic measurement tools and, relative to these inspection duties, initiate and document corrective action for programming issues and other problems.
Employee must have the skill and knowledge to perform in all of the general functions of the Assembly Mechanic listed below: Sealer Assembler, Sub Assembly, Assembler/Installer Structures, Inspection to include the following:
Maintain required personal certifications.
Perform complete inspection, including first part review, of procurer fabricated parts and assemblies.
Initiate and document any non-conforming condition for Material Review Board action.
Perform process surveillance to assure compliance with requirements.
Prepare and maintain quality records.
Setup and operate conventional and Computerized Numerical Controlled (CNC) fastening equipment, similar to Multi-Task etc., to assemble components in accordance with engineering specifications, and/or the employee must have the skill and knowledge to perform in two or more of the specialties listed below: Assembly/Installation Doors Integral Fuel Cell Sealing Precision Bench Assembly Pressure and vacuum testing
Provide high-level technical support and leadership relative to assembly and installation.
Major Requirements Include:
To be considered for this 2nd shift opportunity, preferred candidates will possess a minimum of 6 months of aircraft structural sheet metal experience or have successfully completed Aero Structural Training. Candidate will have preferred 2 years of direct aircraft experience.
Operate measurement and testing equipment, machines, and devices in accordance with established procedures
Load, locate, and unload, parts and assemblies
Disassemble and prepare assemblies to accomplish rework, repair or change incorporation on completed assemblies Drill, saw, file, sand, build up, trim, fit, and fasten parts to meet production requirements utilizing any required hand or power tools
Fabricate, assemble, and install systems elements
Maintain or repair tools, shop aids, equipment, and facilities as necessary to accomplish work assignments including first-level maintenance on machines and equipment
Candidates must also possess the willingness to work assigned shift and overtime as required as well as the ability to work on concrete floors, uneven surfaces, and in confined spaces, as well as walk on open floor beams, climb on stairs/scaffolding, crawl/kneel in work station, and lift/move parts and/or tools

Assembly Set Up Technician
1.Ensure proper set up of presses to attain production rates with minimal scrap.
2.Monitor and ensure print quality.
3.Assist with new employee training.
4.Check product quality on a regular basis.
5.Fill in for Overcap Decorating Floater in their absence.
6.Organize your work area and prepare for the set up of your next job.
7.Could be required to work either an 8 hour or 12 hour shift schedule.

Swiss Screw Machine Set Up
The CNC Set-Up person is responsible for independent operation of various CNC machines, maintaining machine operations, independent tool changes.
Individual will perform set-ups and cycle through proven programs to obtain first article with little assistance. Training to achieve independent set up of primary assigned machine(s).
Must demonstrate the ability to read and comprehend, work instructions, blueprints, and basic program movements. Individual will perform inspection of machined parts by the use of micrometers, calipers, and fixed gauges and other various measuring instruments.
Training others of these skills also required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities to which competency will be measured include the following and are required for possible advancement:
1.Operation of various types of CNC machines producing machined parts.
2.Demonstrate ability to comprehend verbal/written instructions.
3.Demonstrate ability to comprehend and interpret blueprints and specifications.

Set Up Operator I - Assembly
Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking a qualified Set Up Operator - Assembly to support our Fort Mill 2 facility on our Fort Mill, SC campus.
Key duties include but not limited to:
Responsible for sampling parts during the assembly operation to ensure parts meet blueprint specifications
Ensure that all components have been accepted and correspond to the assembly work order and blueprint while keeping parts organized in such a way to avoid mixing
Verify all required paperwork and gages are on the workstation
Ensure gages are properly set and properly calibrated per calibration stickers, and perform inspections / quality checks per the control plans
Adhere to 5S standards
Troubleshoot and resolve complex assembly / machine issues
Qualified candidates will have:
Minimum of two years in manufacturing environment operating complex plant metalworking or related equipment
Experience with machine set-up on the same machine or machine type as will be responsible for after hire
Ability to read/complete blueprints
Ability to provide examples of previous complex troubleshooting
Strong communication skills and strong mechanical background with troubleshooting skills

CNC Machine Set
Sets up, plans, and performs a variety of machine operations utilizing numerical control machining centers to cut, shape, or form metal work pieces to specifications by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Follow all safety and housekeeping rules, policies, and procedures.
Inspects first-run piece after start of shift and spot checks succeeding pieces to conformance to specifications, using micrometers, precision dial gauges, and calipers.

Assist in corrective and preventive maintenance on Lyles, Sencorps, and support equipment as described above
- Able to identify, retrieve, and replace machine components from the stockroom
- Follow the proper procedure to inform the storeroom clerk that parts have been removed from or returned to inventory
Use computer to identify priorities, shop machine efficiencies (scrap, downtime standard cycle, speed, and machine problems).

STATEMENT OF JOB
The Deep Draw/Udylite Operator works under the supervisor in the Fabrication Unit. Sets up and maintains the deep draw, trimming, piercing, Udylite system and grit blast machines.
This position requires Associates placed in the position to successfully complete specific training. These training requirements can be located on the Marinette Operations Training Matrix.
The Automation Technician reports to the Standard Products Production Supervisor. The primary responsibility of the Machine Operator III (Automation Technician - Valve Assembly) is to maintain equipment up-time by ensuring proper materials are at all the machine location and ensure fixtures and other wear items are changed within the proper intervals; providing a continuous supply of valve assemblies to the production lines to meet production requirements.
Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to, daily calibration of test equipment, quality inspections and testing of hourly test samples and recording required data from the assembly equipment and subsequent testing. The Automation Technician is responsible for daily preventative and predictive maintenance, in addition to following all safety, setup and work procedures. Daily interaction with supervisors, engineering, and management is required.

Must be 18 years of age and have a HS Diploma or equivalent. Good Judgment.
Most duties require standing and walking. Able to continuously handle 3-10 pound blanks and shells. Able to bend and work in awkward positions.
Prefer related experience with computerized automation equipment. Prefer experience setting up and operating semi- and fully-automated machines. Knowledge of basic mechanics and mathematics; with demonstrated analytical skills.
Experience with testing and gauging equipment; including the maintenance of the equipment. Demonstrated experience with preventative maintenance tasks and equipment setups. Ability to read and interpret prints, work instructions, setup instructions, control plans, and other required instructional information.
Demonstrated ability to complete all required documentation and communicate effectively with supervision, engineering, and management. Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a team environment. Demonstrated computer skills and experience with software packages. Must be willing to cross train in all other machine Operator III roles.
1.Sets up deep draw machine by inserting proper tooling such as dies, spacers and rams, using an overhead hoist and attaching electrical switches.
2.Starts up deep draw machine by activating proper buttons on control panel. Check proper oil levels and machine operating pressures.
3.Inserts blanks into loading slot while visually checking for defective material.
4.Inspects condition of shells to assure quality and to prevent metal build-up on dies.
5.Cleans and checks condition of press and dies, making adjustments when necessary, such as polishing dies, punch and other tooling with air driven hand tool and cleaning agent.
6.Changes or removes die sets or other tooling on the deep draw, trimming machine and piercing machine.
7.Performs some maintenance duties such as removing and replacing filter screens, replacing punch lights and removing oil and sludge from the deep draw machine.
8.Adjusts conveyor system to accommodate shell size with small hand tools and hoist to position guides, electrical push rods and chutes. Occasionally fabricates guides.
9.Sets up trim machine by inserting proper tooling and adjusting electrical switches, machine speed, both rams and gear sets according to size shell being trimmed.
10. Operates trimming machine, re-adjusts cutters, guides or other tooling when jam-ups occur. Check shells to insure proper length. Removes excess metal from trimmer into boxes.
11. Makes minor adjustments to machine and performs troubleshooting procedures such as replacing dull cutting blades or adjusting switches.
12. Sets up piercing machine by inserting proper head dies, adjusting index speed and checking hydraulic oil level and pressure.
13. Operates piercing machine by inserting proper SY shell into machine, allows machine to pierce hole in shell during indexing cycle, and removes shell from machine at end of operation cycle. Troubleshoot when malfunction occurs.
14. Starts up Udylite System by opening proper valves on steam lines to heat solutions in dip tanks. Open proper valves to fill tanks to correct level.
15. Assures racks are in proper position and time cycle is correct before engaging proper buttons on electrical control panel that starts automatic dipping operation.
16. Checks temperature of various solutions with thermometer.
17. Observes sequence of automatic operation to assure proper functioning.
18. Visually inspects to insure proper cleaning, lubricant coating of blanks or rejection of defective blanks.
19. Using recorded test titration results as a guide, adjusts dip tank solutions to proper strengths and/or levels, such as degreasers, neutralizers and lubricants.
20. Performs maintenance duties such as cleaning the tanks heating coils.
21. Starts up and makes adjustments to grit blast machine to wash and blast required size SY shell blanks.
22. Loads blanks from pallet to load cradle and starts cycle.
23. Monitors operation for proper cleaning and blasting of various size discs according to written instructions and setup sheets.
24. On occasion may be required to perform material handling duties to move shells and discs to and from work area.
25. Perform housekeeping and other related duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Mechanically assembles, operates various assembly machines, manual or automatic, to assemble various types and sizes of components. Machine operations performed may include, but are not limited to: bumping, re-sizing, drive nut assembly, crimping, sleeve insertion, nut stamping, groove cutting, knurling, etc.
Description of Essential Functions and
Under specific direction and subject to review, performs the following:
Operate and maintain the equipment assigned to produce accurate assemblies.
Verify that assembly results coincide with production requirements through visual inspection or through touch and feel of completed process.
Provide necessary counts, processes documentation correctly, and maintains daily production logs using computer software applications or production worksheets. Keeps interim records for subassemblies, material, tooling, rework, etc.
Maintain high level of housekeeping orderliness and work organization.
Works as an active team member by participating in problem solving, team building, and all other team activities to improve the processes, productivity, quality, etc. of the assembly operations. Uses interpersonal skills as well as good written and verbal communications. Assists other tarn members as required.
Material or Product Responsibilities –
Performs duties that require close attention to work and supporting documentation specifications and other requirements.
Responsible for final assembly at times as well as accuracy of parts assembled or machined. Visually and/ or with measuring instruments checks work performed for proper results.
3-6 months or equivalent - familiarity with assembly of mechanical detailed parts using various hand tools, assembly bench machines, assembly equipment, and checking of parts machined or assembled. Must read precision measuring instruments - calipers and micrometers.
Must read assembly prints similar or comparable to ones used in shop assembly operations.
Must be familiar with operation of assembly machines same or similar to those used by company.

Summary of the Position: The Set-Up Mechanic will report to the Maintenance Manager/Packaging Supervisor. The Set-Up Mechanic will act upon specific written and/ or verbal instructions furnished by the Maintenance/Supervisor to set-up plant equipment correctly for operation and effectively use time to meet company goals.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Set-up/Operate pharmaceutical-processing/packaging equipment in conformance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), clean rooms and equipment according to standard procedures and perform varied preventive maintenance duties.
Set-up/Operate miscellaneous related equipment, repair and/or report defects.
Will work directly with maintenance to ensure that all equipment is in proper working/running condition with no errors.
Will work directly with maintenance to complete PM's in the Packaging area, as scheduled by the CMMS Program.
In addition, the Set-Up Mechanic will organize work to achieve daily goals with no errors or deficiencies, follow and adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures and Safety Precautions.
Perform other assigned duties as may be required in meeting company objectives
Communicate effectively with other departments within the organization and function within a team environment.
Minimum Requirements Previous experience as a Set-up/Line mechanic a plus. Must be able to work at a fast pace to achieve daily goals. In order to perform this job successfully, individual is regularly required to stand, bend and requires using hands and arms to lift and reach and must be able to lift and move packages and material up to 50 lbs. Note: Work schedule may be changed and/or overtime mandatory as deemed necessary by Management.
Education and Experience: Two Year Industrial Maintenance Program a plus, but not required.
