4.Provide high-level technical support and leadership relative toassembly and installation.
In order to be considered for this 2nd shift opportunity, preferred candidates will possess a minimum of 4 years of aircraft structural sheet metal experience or have successfully completed Aero Structural Training
Operate measurement and testing equipment, machines, and devices in accordance with established procedures
Load, locate, and unload, parts and assemblies

Summary: Under direct supervision, will learn andperform tasks including but not limited to assisting in setting up tools, dies,and equipment for production of material as specified by work orders,blueprints and diagrams. Load and unloadparts on roll machines. Makes minoradjustments and performs coil and line changeovers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Successfully completes 3 months orientation onthe roll forming process including roll mill set-up and preset, roll millmaintenance and cleaning, coil changes & welding, routing & packagingprocedures, measuring instruments, and basic roll line set up.
Uses knowledge of manufacturing software andlabel software to ensure production needs are is accurately identified andrecorded.
Will assist with loading and unloading thematerials from the equipment while using guarding, cranes, bundling materials,and material moving equipment.
Successfully completes 9 to 15 months basictraining on shop floor safety, roll mill set-up and preset, roll millmaintenance and cleaning, coil changes & welding, routing & packagingprocedures, measuring instruments, and basic roll line set up.
Under direct supervision, will safely set-up theroll line and produce roll-formed parts while using blueprints and set-up drawings.

1.Assembles and disassembles proprietary and other proprietary oilfield equipment for shipment, inspection or test under the direct supervision of a supervisor or lead assembly mechanic.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The machine repairer/mechanic is responsible for the working side by side with engineers, technicians, operators, team leaders, electrician/millwrights, toolmakers and others to complete all the work necessary to repair/maintain plant machinery and equipment. The machine repairer/mechanic will diagnose, repair, adjust, disassemble, assemble, replace parts as necessary on machines and equipment to meet production and customer delivery requirements. The Shop Tech II position is responsible for the set-up and operation of various types of conventional machine shop equipment inclusive of, but not limited to, manual engine lathes, bridgeport mills, hardinge tool room and chucker lathes, etc., to produce complex and diversified high tolerance products to meet operational requirements. The individual in this role will apply expertise and job knowledge to documentation review, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, equipment set-up/operation, and component inspection related activities, with little to no direct supervision. The incumbent must be an individual who can multi-task and perform various machine shop related activities independently, in a manner that complies with company requirements (i.e. regulatory, safety, administrative, etc.).
Demonstrated Corporate Competencies
Minimum Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 5 yrs. of experience in machining
Self-motivated, with the ability to analyze, organize, plan, multi-task and achieve results through effective interaction with others.
Possess math skills required to effectively and efficiently read, interpret documents (i.e. blueprints/technical drawings, operation/tool/set-up sheets, procedures, ECN's, routers, etc).
Knowledgeable in the areas of Lean Manufacturing concepts, employee training, GT&D practices, interpretation of machine shop documentation (blue prints, ECN's, operation/tooling sheets, routers, etc.), inspection methods, effective utilization of measuring equipment/instruments, root cause investigations, troubleshooting, and performance metrics.
Demonstrated proficiency using C.N.C. machine controls and editing associated machine code.
Effective verbal/written communication skills required for multi-faceted interactions with all levels of personnel within the organization
Computer literate, with MS Office/PC experience
Manufacture parts using varieties of tools, equipment and materials, as per SOPs
Perform in-process inspection, as per set standards by organization
Use and measure the parts using Calipers, Micrometers, Depth gages etc.
Operate multiple machines, as directed
Interpret various types of graphs and data used in problem solving, SPC, monitoring of performance metrics, etc.
Ensure that machine shop related activities are coordinated, executed, documented (as required) and brought to closure in a timely manner through effective interaction with individuals within the Marotta organization.
Read and interpret documents (i.e. blueprints/technical drawings, operation/tool/set-up sheets, routers, procedures, ECN's, etc.) in an effective manner to produce conforming product on a timely basis.
Interpret various types of graphs/data required for problem solving, SPC and monitoring of performance metrics
Set-up and operate various types of CNC and manual machine shop equipment in an effective, efficient, safe and consistent manner to support customer requirements, with little to no supervision
Review documentation and inspect material to ensure methods, procedures, equipment and tooling are capable of producing conforming product in a safe and efficient manner. Communicate issues w/recommendations to the appropriate personnel.
Effectively perform component/material inspections utilizing the appropriate measuring equipment/instruments
Perform troubleshooting activities to resolve issues and provide improvement recommendations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to conditions typical of a manufacturing/machine shop environment, including, but not limited to: fluids, fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, noise and vibration
This job interacts both in a professional office environment and a manufacturing/machine shop environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, as well as environments inclusive of the appropriate eye, hearing and foot protection (as required).
Temperature of work environment may be affected by outside/external temperatures, machining processes, etc.
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are 8 hours, Monday through Friday. Overtime and weekend work are required, as job duties demand.
No travel is expected for this position
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, and to use hands to finger, handle or feel
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is regularly required to stand at length (7-8 hours, daily), sit, walk, stoop, bend, turn, balance, and/or crouch, and move about the facility.
The employee may be required to lift and/or move items weighing up to 40 pounds, and occasionally up to 70 lbs.
