Provides hands on job function training to coworkers as needed.
Open and unpack chassis and components to be used on the server assembly
Install/replace brackets, labels, etc.
Install small components
Will need to use power screwdrivers

Colson Group USA has an opening for Assembly Operator. The position includes manual support to production activities related to assembly of products, material transactions, inspection and package of finished goods.
The primary duties include:
Order material based on current jobs
Perform minor machine set and verifications
Assemble product based on BOM, work instructions and job travelers
Verify product conformance to specification(s)
Keep assigned areas neat and orderly
Basic computer skills for data transaction entry
Operatare basic hands tools
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to follow written and oral instruction
Starting pay is $17.58 per hour plus shift differentials
The responsibility of the Assembly Operator is to work safely, produce high quality products in an efficient manner, and learn other positions on the line.
Employee is required to repeatedly lift and handle battery parts, envelope materials, elements and batteries weighing from grams to 60 pounds.
Continuous and repetitive loading of plates into feed magazines and some hand stacking of positive and negative plates.
Perform first piece set-up, weld breaks, and weld analysis.
Will process 1200-2400 batteries per 12-hour shift.
Work with a multiple-person team in an area containing electrical powered machinery, torches, lead melting pots, conveyors, computers, and ventilation equipment.
Must learn and follow quality control specifications, maintain accurate and timely SPC charts, 002 forms, and other material control documents.
Will be exposed to lead (dust, fumes, and molten form), hot glue, and other hazards.
Must be able to understand and communicate in basic English to receive training, instructions and perform team responsibilities.
Recognize & Record scrap during shift when required.
Fill out JD Edwards reconciliation form, end of shift.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area in accordance with 5s requirements.
Comply with safety and health regulations for the protection of self and fellow workers.
Follow Lean Manufacturing Procedures.
Comply with current Quality Systems requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Management Team.
Follow safety policies to include use of PPE.
Frequent lifting from grams to 50 pounds
Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, stooping and pulling.
Continuous Standing and Walking for 12-hour shift.
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment such as gloves, respirator, safety glasses, and metatarsal guard shoes, etc., as required in established policy.
May sometimes be exposed to extreme environmental conditions (hot, cold, humid).
Must work from 10 inches to 60 inches above the floor and reach 24 inches side to side.
Small hand tools, numerous types of powered equipment and control panels, hoists, torches, platen carts, safety equipment.
Personal Protective Equipment as required.

This position is responsible for following customer requirements, specifications and work orders supplied by production control. This job should be performed in an efficient and safe manner in accordance with RBC AeroStructures policy. This position is for 2nd shift.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Assemble parts as specified on work orders approved by Engineering and Productions Control based on customer requirements.
Serve as the backup and overflow support for paint as required.
Keep assembly shop area clean and free of debris.
Monitor supplies and items used noting expiration dates, customer specifications and safety policies.
Perform routine maintenance and equipment inspection as required.
Supports lean enterprise activities in support of plant objectives.
Participate in continuous improvement activities as required to support the overall plant mission.
Perform all duties as required by area Team Leader.
Work hours would be 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 3:30 p.m.-12 midnight)
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Two years experience in a manufacturing environment desired.

The Assembly Operator II is responsible for inspection, assembly and testing of a variety of valves. These duties may be part of valve assembly from component parts as well as assembly of valves and actuators. The job requires the person to exhibit good knowledge of valves, mechanical ability and understanding.
