Endoscope Repair Assembler

Job Description

Expert Staffing is currently looking for an Endoscope Repair Assembler for our customer in Worcester, MA.

This is a 1st shift position. Pay depends on experience.

This is a temp to perm position.


Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, troubleshoot, disassemble, assemble, repair, and inspect endoscopes to assure proper function.
  • Utilize a variety of small hand tools and test equipment to make repairs.
  • Maintain and complete accurate service records, both electronically and manually.
  • Assist in preparing documentation
  • Follow GMP, FDA, ISO, and company procedures.


Requirements:

  • Must be able to work cooperatively with others in a team oriented environment.
  • Must be able to read numbers on small components.
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook a plus.
  • Must be able to lift 20lbs.


Qualifications:

  • 6-12 months related repair or manufacturing experience of precision devices.
  • Minimum high school degree.
  • Experience working with small components, preferably under a microscope.
  • Must have sufficient manual dexterity with small hand tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Riveting various component parts to boats using pneumatic hammer.
  • Installing interior boat components such as brackets etc., carpeting, gluing, sawing, filing, glue gun usage, stapling, vacuuming, and foaming gun use.
  • Select and prepare components for boats, inspect quality of material prior to and following installation using tape measure, jigs, and gauges to insure proper fit and alignment of interior boat components. Inserting die corresponding to size of rivet head in hammer.
  • Prep Assembly of boats including installing interior boat components such as brackets etc., carpeting, gluing, sawing, filing, glue gun usage, stapling, vacuuming, and foaming gun use.
  • Select and prepare components for boats, inspect quality of material prior to and following installation using tape measure, jigs, and gauges to insure proper fit and alignment of interior boat components. Work different stations or departments to meet production needs.
  • Other duties are assigned.

Immediate opening for an Residential Assembler in the Troy, OH area.
3rd shift position working Monday-Friday, 11:00 pm - 7:00 am


Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and interpret assembly instructions
  • Determines if all parts are present and review materials for expiration
  • Assembles the product following proper PPE and instructions
  • Verifies throughout the process product is being assembled per the specifications by the use of measuring tools, calipers, or other methods to verify thickness, weight, etc.
