The Supervisor – Production Area is responsible for the direct oversight of the Production Area, as well as the corresponding associates and physical production. Assists in the decision making process in regards to cycle standards and process changes.

Manage a team of assembly millwrights for outfitting and assembly of new project builds. Responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, budgets, productivity, quality control and safety measures established at Vigor. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with companys policies and applicable laws. This person will provide day-to-day leadership and supervision in the achievement of productivity, schedule attainment, quality and Employee Health Safety programs.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree(BS Mechanical or other technical engineering degree is desired).
EXPERIENCE: 2 years of industry experience preferred.

Coach and support area of responsibility
Daily communication and coordination with teams, other supervisors and departments. Direct work assignments in accordance with the production schedule- plans and organizes activities of the production/assembly line to meet production deadlines.
Monitor housekeeping (5 pillars) and correct safety issues.
Ensure compliance to environmental, productivity, quality and health& safety standards.
Identify and implement continuous improvement projects
Prepare and adhere to department budget • Enforce policies and procedures and apply disciplinary action as needed
Prepare and maintain production reports and records- taking corrective action when necessary
Coordinate departmental maintenance and engineering needs
Responsible for inventory analysis
Order and purchase necessary equipment or materials for assembly or production. Other duties as assigned
The job requires occasional carrying/lifting 50-70 pounds
Occasional bending/stooping, climbing, crouching, kneeling and reaching above shoulder level
Continuous standing/walking for approximately eight (8) hours per day
Operating foot pedals using both feet
Requires extensive use of the eyes
The job may have exposure to loud noise levels and may be exposed to dust, fumes, and gases
May be required to drive in-house equipment
